Ansar Beit Al Maqids : The real Terrorist Group stands up

Posted on 12:59 by Unknown
Some tweep said that militant Jihadist Ansar Beit Al Maqids group was jealous from the Muslim Brotherhood as the later was designated officially as terrorist organization by the Egyptian government on Wednesday despite the Sinai militant group claimed responsibility for the bombing of Mansoura security directorate and so we had Thursday’s Nasr city homemade bombs.
Of course no one has claimed responsibility for the bombs of Nasr city which injured 5 citizens badly yet.
Well the Sinai based militant group whose operations shocked the Egyptians whether in Sinai or Cairo or Ismailia or Mansoura  released a new video representing themselves to the public again as if it feels offended on how it was ignored by the government.
It is typical Jihadist video , the narrator speaks in Non Egyptian accent Classical Arabic and if I am not mistaken he is not an Egyptian. You got the same rhetoric of Jihadists that considers the army as infidel and agent.
Ansar Beit Al Maqdis’ message to the Egyptian people
Interestingly there is a historical mistake in this video that the army used to launch campaigns against Jihadists during the time of Mubarak , well according to my knowledge it was the police as the army was not allowed to go that deep in Sinai in this way. The video claimed that Beit Al Maqids used to blow the gas pipeline in Sinai during the time of Mubarak , again as far as I know it started to blow up on a regular basis in 2011 after the revolution.
A friend of mine also noticed that the verses of the Quran read in the introduction of the video was actually related to praying teachings in war time not actually Jihad related verses.
Some experts in Islamist and Jihadist groups say that this was one of the weakest videos ever produced by the notorious group.
The militant group started to target the army and police after what they called “El Sisi’s coup”
The video allegedly also accused Morsi of not raising the Islamic banner slamming the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Nour party , I am not surprised actually because in the end Ansar Beit Al Maqids is a Jihadist group that considers anyone that gets engage in the democratic process an infidel.
The Pro-Military supporters and media claim that Ansar Beit Al Maqids is a MB subsidiary. There is no official proof about this except bunch of untrusted statements and leaks about prosecution’s investigations in our mainstream tabloid media.
It is more complicated than that from I read , heard and know about that group from experts in Sinai affairs and Islamist movements. Even the possible relation between that Salafist Jihadist group with the Brotherhood is complicated as you can see in the video.
Personally I believe that it is not about the Muslim Brotherhood or Morsi’s presidency or even about Rabaa massacres’ victims just it is not about the struggle in the occupied territories in Palestine.
The Pro-Muslim Brotherhood supporters and media claim that Ansar Beit Al Maqid is a fake group created by the army and intelligence to justify the crackdown against the Islamists , it is not.
Ansar Beit Al Maqids group is a real Jahidist militant group and unfortunately Siyad Qutb’s radical bloody though plays an important role in its doctrines. Unfortunately the radical doctrines and thoughts of Qutb are finding their way among the Islamist youth which no longer believe in democracy.
Of course the Muslim Brotherhood leaderships whether inside or outside Egypt “the free or detained” can end the argument of the MB and Ansar Beit Al Maqids by issuing an official statement condemning and attacking the actions of that militant terrorist group explicitly.
Speaking of Ansar Beit Al Maqids , I can not ignore how TV channel and News website Sada El Balad claimed that the Sinai based militant group declared on twitter that it was not responsible for the blast on Thursday. Luckily the website showed a screenshot for the alleged tweet and account and so as social media junkie , I went to check it. I did not expect to see twitter’s blue verification sign and I did not expect either to see a private account !! Oh yes the alleged Ansar Beit Al Maqids’ account on twitter is private except for few including the journalists in Sada El Balad news website and channel !!
Using bad Arabic language that does not suite an ultra-conservative Jihadist Salafist group , the account amazingly says that it is an official page for Ansar Al Maqids but it follows them !!!!!
By the way there are no rebels in Sinai , there are radical Jihadist groups. Yes there are human rights abuses in Sinai and yes we need news policies whether security policies or political policies to save Sinai before it is too late but there are no rebels in Sinai. Unfortunately the people of Sinai are stuck between a government that does not learn from its mistakes and heartless terrorist group as well smugglers and arms dealers.
What I see now that the army is achieving victories for extremely high price “ its relation with the locals in Sinai” versus the terrorists whose operations reached to the valley boldly. I do not know anything but I would say we need a new intelligence plan that minimizes casualties as well human rights abuses and yes you can achieve it.
In real civilian democracies all the officials responsible for national security , terrorism , intelligence and defense are seriously questioned by the parliament’s national security committee whether publicly or secretly in order to see the progress of the counter-terrorism operations and how effective its progress is.
Since August 2012 and the murder of our soldiers and even before that the locals in Sinai were warning from the Salafist Jihadists but no one was listening. We need to know what happened since August 2012 for real , I do not want lies and cheap propaganda. I know I speak in vain but it is better than being a silent devil if you know what I mean.
As long as there is no true accountability , we will never admit our mistakes or even try to mend them.

Constitution 2013 Edition : Let’s get over this shit quickly ya People !!

Posted on 15:11 by Unknown
The controversies of the draft constitution do not want to end. The latest controversy is what Dr. Mohamed Abu El Ghar , the member of the Constitution committee and leader of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party said on TV last Monday about the last minute change in the constitution preamble without the approval of the committee.
Here is the video in Arabic .
In that interview with Rania Badawy on Al Tahrir TV channel , Abu El Ghar says that the text regarding the civility of the state was changed in the preamble with informing the committee after it finalized its work.
The committee voted on a final draft containing the word "civilian rule" in the preamble, while the version submitted by the committee to the interim president on 3 December replaced the phrase with "civilian government." Yes the original text till last minute was “Egypt’s civilian rule ” but it changed suddenly in the final session to “Egypt’s civilian government”.
In the interview Abu El Ghar accused the deep state of changing the text in order to please the Salafists and to ensure that they would vote in the referendum in the favor of the constitution. He also said only Amr Moussa and very few members in the committee knew about this deal and this last minute change in the preamble.
He also hinted out that the army played a role in this last minute change in the dinner they invited the members of the constitution committee to.
In end the leader of the SDP is telling the people that they wanted just to get over with that shit “regardless of being shit” so the Muslim Brotherhood would not gloat !!
Of course all the members of the Constitution committee are denying that there were pressures from any party or institution aka the army to alter anything. Amr Salah , the youth so-called representative in the committee posted on his Facebook page that Dr. Abu El Ghar was lying.
Poor Dr. Abu El Ghar now is saying that he was misunderstood.
And people like Abu El Ghar are considered liberal elite in Egypt !!!
A follow tweep told me today that the problem of Abu El Ghar and old politicians like him that they gambled with our future and our kids’ future . It is true but still we can do something about this future.
To be honest the Salafists are not the only group in town that are supporting that change in the preamble. The military join the Salafists in being the biggest winner when it comes to the “civilian government” if I understand correctly Ahram Online’s report about the whole matter.
Constitutional expert Rafaat Fouda, head of the public law department at Cairo University, believes there is a major difference between the two formulations.
Civilian rule, he said, would prohibit having a military man or man of religion as president, would prevent any kind of political activities with military or religious tones, and would outlaw applying military provisions to civilians -- including military trials for civilians, a measure permitted in the draft constitution. The term "civilian government" would make all of the above scenarios legally possible, according to Fouda.
"The term 'civilian government' is useless because the cabinet does not rule (alone)," Fouda told Ahram Online. The Arabic word for government is often used to refer to the cabinet.
Ruling power is divided between the president and the parliament... this term allows military men or clerics in the presidency or in parliament."

Still the “Civilian government” contradicts with the fact the minister of defense in the Draft Constitution should be a military.
The "civilian government" expression, Fouda argued, does not allow any military personnel or religious clerics in the cabinet. Paradoxically, another article in the constitution states that the defence minister has to be chosen from among the ranks of the military.
Back to Dr. Abu El Ghar’s revelation , well I hate to tell you that any lawyer can use this interview to nullify the referendum by claiming that there was last time unapproved change in the preamble.
This is just an example of the things I do not approve in the constitution. I am not angry or surprised but I am astonished at how much passive Dr. Abu El Ghar is. Nations’ constitutions are not drafted according to theory “Let’s get over this shit ya people” nor they are approved so the opposition parties and groups won’t gloat.
And here I remember Dr. ElBaradei’s words “This is not how nations are managed”
The Constitution referendum will be held next 14 and 15 January in Egypt. Egyptians abroad will vote in the referendum earlier on 8 January 2014. Up till now the  parliamentary electoral systems have been determined yet.It is left to the presidency to choose it.

Pharaoh's Dreams and Visions

Posted on 09:26 by Unknown
Four scenes from Ancient Egypt to 21st century Egypt

Ancient Egypt – Middle Age

Arthur Reginald's Jospeh interpeting the pharoah's dream
The Pharaoh “Whom we do not know who he was” bring prisoner Joseph from prison , he was renowned to have a special gift : To interpret dreams. The pharaoh brought him from prison to interpret two dreams : He dreamt of seven lean cows which rose out of the river and devoured seven fat cows; and, of seven withered ears of grain which devoured seven fat ears. Prophet Joseph interpreted them as foretelling that seven years of abundance would be followed by seven years of famine, and advised Pharaoh to store surplus grain during the years of abundance.
The dreams came true and the pharaoh followed Joseph’s advice saving Egypt from hunger. It paid off and Joseph was released after years in an Egyptian jail unfairly. He became the vizier of Egypt and the rest you know in Torah, Bible and Quran very well.

Middle ages Syria

A young slave in Damascus told famous Sheikh El Ezz Ibn Abdel Salam that he saw prophet Mohamed “PBUH” himself in a vision telling him that he would head to Egypt and would rule it. The Young slave was not an ordinary Slave boy  in the Middle ages as legends and middle age historians also say that he was the unfortunate heir of Shah Muhammed II of Khwarezm captured by the Mongols and sold in Damascus.
The young slave was then sold to Prince Ezz El Din Aybak , the famous Mamluk prince where he became a Prince and his first aide in Egypt. Sooner the dream came true and the slave boy whose name was then Seif El Din Qutuz , the Mamluk Prince became the third Mamluk Sultan of  Egypt.
Qutuz did rule Egypt and conquered the Mongul armies in an epic battle that would inspire generations and generations. He only ruled Egypt for one year before he was killed by other Mamluks above them Baibars who would rule Egypt for 30 years.

Egypt- In the first half of the 20th century

Jehan El Sadat reveals that after marrying Mohamed Anwar El Sadat shortly a fortune teller or rather a palmist told her while walking by the Nile in one of the evening with her husband that she would be the Queen of Egypt. Both Jehan and Anwar laughed then but in 1971 the palmist seemed be telling the truth. Jehan El Sadat was the first lady off Egypt , she was the uncrowned Queen of Egypt.
Still in 1981 President Sadat was assassinated by Islamists with ambitions to rule. Mrs. El Sadat mentioned this in her memories I do not know where she first mentioned though.

Egypt – In the second half of the 20th century

From 35 years ago an officer in the Egyptian army called Abdel Fatah El Sisi had a very interesting series of dreams or rather visions where he was raising a sword, on which was written “No God but God” in red then  in another one he was wearing an OMEGA watch with a Green Star and When he was asked by the people about why he would have this watch,he answered that that watch was named for him “ it’s an Omega, and I’m Abdel Fattah” !!!!
General El Sisi ( Armed forces spox FB)
Of course things get darker in other dreams which he considered visions. In one vision he was told someone “he did not mention” that he  was told I would be given what nobody else had been given !!
In the final vision he revealed that He was with Sadat, and the late President assassinated by Islamists told him he  knew that he would be the president and allegedly El Sisi told him “I also know that I’m going to be the president”….!!!!
That was mentioned in another alleged audio leak from General Abdel Fatah El Sisi’s interview with Yasser Rizk of Al Masry Al Youm. Those leaks do not want to finish and up till now there was no confirmation or denial about its authenticity either.  So far it is regarded to be authentic and it is making rounds now in social media as well foreign media. I saw the last leak about the general’s  featured in none other than Times of Israel.
Of course for those people who still use their minds in the right way in Egypt are extremely alarmed that the commander of the Egyptian army “He used to head military intelligence” believes in dreams and so on not to mention that he rules Egypt now regardless of the ambitions about become Egypt’s president. “He mentioned it in his dreams”
Those who read and studied Sigmund Freud’s work  are saying that the General had long time ambition to rule Egypt. Those who read and believe in the work of Ibn Sirin are trying to interpret the dreams of Egypt’s true ruler now. Of course there were no OMEGA watches in time of Ibn Sirin !!
Some people who do not read Freud or have got the Ibn Sirin’s ultimate guide to interpret dreams believe the visions of the generals are not good , after we got a President assassinated by Islamists and a sword with the words of Tawheed in red just like blood.
We had enough of rulers who God speaks to them not to mention that we were the first nation the world to have a ruler that descends from the Gods themselves. It is more than alarming and scary when it comes to think about the future of both the Egyptian army and the future of Egypt. Many people hope it is fake including revolutionary activists I know.
El Sisi cultists and supporters who are no different than the Muslim Brotherhood supporters and members from their blind faith in their icons that reaches to dangerous cultist devotion say that that was divine sign that that was the man to rule Egypt for eternity.
The Pro-Military supporters including those claiming to be officers online are claiming that that alleged dream is associated with Sufism and its symbolisms..etc. Already I can not forget they were marketing the man as a Sufi last year.
My humble knowledge about Sufism , the true Sufis do not seek any worldly materialistic position for real , they do not want their heart full of the love of God to be full of the greed of the world and politics. This is what I know about Sufism.
Of course for traditional Salafists not Jihadist Salafists  , the man has to be obeyed either way according to their doctrines as the land and men are following his orders by the will of God. For God sake the traditional Salafists and their Sheikhs like Yasser El Borhamy are the best friends for regimes especially police regimes. The Sword with the words that No God but God in red could be sign for them.
Ironically those guys used to mock on how the Pro-MB Islamists used to claim that they saw visions and dreams of Prophet Mohamed,Omar and archangel Gabriel used allegedly support Mohamed Morsi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is easy to govern and control people who believe in dreams , visions , omens I am afraid !!

I have a dream
Martin Luther King JR.

Lincoln Memorial , Washington D. C
Well I have my dream too , it is a vision not for me as sort savior queen but rather a vision of my Egypt.  I dream of Egypt that has got a true Constitution that builds a true strong civilian secular nation that does not differentiate between its citizens regardless of their color , race , religion or gender. I dream of a constitution that gives people rights and regard them as humans.
I dream of a ministry of interior that is restructured to serve the people for real , that protects the people for real and respects their rights as well the law for real. I dream of a true parliament that represents the people of Egypt real. I dream of true hearing sessions in the parliament.
I dream that ministers from defense to transportation worry from the hearing sessions in the parliament. I dream of officials that worry from accountability , I dream of official that are truly dedicated to their work and want to be remembered in some positive way.
I dream that no civilian stand a military trial nor there is a difference between civilian or military in the first place when it comes to respect and recognition in the country.
I dream of a proper modern education in public schools and public universities. I dream of true scientific research in Egypt. I dream of true eco-industrial and agriculture booming in Egypt. I dream of clean streets and beaches.
I dream that we expand in solar energy especially in rural areas so villages have electricity. I dream of true urban development. I dream of true decentralization in the governorates. I dream of true local councils where the people themselves govern and monitor the government’s action.
I dream of a foreign ministry that truly got a vision for Egypt as true leading independent developing country in Africa and Arab world.
Dream Dream Dream all what I do is dream !! I have too many dreams as you can see. I  know dreams are free. They are one of the ways to escape bitter realities.
I dream and I know that realistically my dream will not come true any time sooner , may be before I will be in my 60s when I see or may I do not and even die before happens. All what I sure that this land was ruled with generals and priests for thousands of years will see the general’s dream come true as it always has done with men like him regardless of the consequences.

#TimePOY ; The Battle that the General's supporters Did not understand

Posted on 13:08 by Unknown

The fake Time Cover
And Time magazine announced its short-list for the its world famous Time's person of the year 2013 and not so surprisingly General Abdel Fatah El Sisi was not among the names in the list. Many hearts and minds in Egypt are angry and broken over the news. After all the Pro-Sisi supporters thought that our so-much popular minister of defense and commander of armed forces will land on the Time magazine's cover next December 11, 2013 after winning the battle against the Turkish Sultan Erdogan in the Face-off and the readers' poll.
Of course the Time itself had to explain how Egyptian media was lobbying for the General's win.
The Pro-Sisi supporters do not want to understand that there is a difference between the Time's person of the Year chosen by the editor of the famous Magazine and the recent Online readers' poll . The Online readers' poll is a new thing added to the Time in cooperation with Twitter.com
The Pro-Sisi supporters do not want to understand that being the Time's person of the Year does not mean you are the greatest and you are being recognized by the world as Mr. Universe. The Time's person of the year is about the Most controversial people of the year that created news and changed the world in their own way. Hitler , Mussolini and Khomini were the Time person of the Year for God's Sake.

Anyone reads how the magazine described the general , you will know that he will not make it to the short-list easily and if he did , it would be in a negative way. " The Egyptian defence minister (and top army general) spearheaded the controversial removal of democratically-elected President Mohamed Morsi in July this year." Oh yes this is what is being said and as you see they say "democratically elected president" !!
"Ironically last year the Pro-Morsi supporters were on fire too because the ousted president behind bars was in the list too and actually he was a runner up !!
Newspapers and News Websites like Dostor.com and Al Watan continue to lie and say that El Sisi was excluded deliberately the general despite his victory in the people's vote !! Al Watan today said that General's supporters are going to boycott the international magazine as if they buy it in the first place.
Former BBC correspondent and Mrs. Abdel Latif Al Manawy's wife aka TV host Rola Kharsa is claiming that Time Magazine is controlled by MB on TV.
BY Nadine Marroushi
Anyhow I am not surprised that those TV hosts, newspapers and news websites continue lies , they won't dare to admit that they lied and even fabricated fake Time magazine covers.
For God's sake , even the Chocolatier specialized in General El Sisi's chocolates aka Cocoa made special chocolates with the general's Time Cover that never was !!!!!
Now we got the infamous Pro-El Sisi group claiming to be an Anonymous related group threatening to bring down the Time magazine because of the editors' action to remove the general from the Shortlist when he won.
The Pro-El Sisi groups urging him to run for the presidency are claiming that the Time editors are forced by the US administration and the mighty International organization of the MB to opt the true winner. They do not want to admit that the General lost that battle , lost fairly and honorably if You ask me after all he won the readers' poll against Erdogan and the Queen of Twerking Miley Cyrus who lobbied for votes through her twitter accounts. "Her followers are more than the twitter users in Egypt for God sake !!"
These are just examples of El-Sisi cult mania , God knows what will happen if this man decided to run for presidency. We had a fake battle to send the world a message it did not to hear or receive.
There is a whole process of deception and misinformation in Egypt. Take the Time Person of the Year as an example and I will not lie to see that it is the role example of how mainstream as well social media act. Of course things are much worse in the social media where the Pro- El Sisi as well Pro- MB Facebook groups and Pages besides the twitter account spread lies.
This is why I am urging Time magazine to publish in Arabic a statement explaining Time's Person of the Year exactly and the difference between the readers' poll and editors' poll which is the main poll. This statement is important considering the amount of information spread shamelessly in the Egyptian media. Not all the Egyptians on social media know English and understand the true meaning of its poll I am afraid.
Anyhow let's leave the groupies and the general because in Foreign Policy we got three Egyptians in its annual Global Thinkers list. We got Bassem Youssef  , Hossam Bahget and Heba Morayef
The Time Magazine Person of the Year , I believe it should Edward Snowdon. Look how many political crises and social media crises he caused with his NSA revelation.

#NoMilTrials : To Protest or Not to Protest

Posted on 06:58 by Unknown
Today a group of protesters and  activists tried to defy the government and the ministry of interior by organizing another protest against both " The military trials for civilians in the Constitution" and "The protest law". The protest is organized by Thowar Front. "Revolutionaries Front"
Now the Ministry of interior is claiming that late Jika's father was the one who applied for a permit for this protest. Ironically no one from the activists asked for a permit in the first place and nobody can reach Mr. Salah Jaber, Jika's dad to confirm this.
The official statement of MOI says that some activists apply for the permit but did not say who these activists are. Ironically according to the law you should apply three days prior to the protest not only the same day.
Interestingly the MOI spokesperson refused to reveal to Daily News Egypt report Fady Ashraf the organizers that applied for permits.

MOI spokesman refused to disclose the names of the protest organisers

— Fady Ashraf (@fadyashraf21) November 27, 2013
Jika is believed to be killed by the MOI during Mohamed Morsi's rule. No one was held accounted for his death up till now.

#EgyConstitution :The draft is not Final yet

Posted on 15:38 by Unknown

Today we found the Egyptian Constitution committee’s official twitter account announcing that the new draft Constitution 2013 is available online. People began to gear up to read and inspect that draft Constitution but then came Mohamed Salmawy , the official spokesperson of the committee to tell us that the draft

It is true , it is not the final draft because they are still last minute talks with everybody to ensure that the majority of certain groups like the Salafists and Workers are going to say Yes. There are still major fights about certain articles other than the military trials and the army articles in general.

Yes the Salafists as well Al Azhar are now fighting with all their powers over the so-called Islamic identity articles and it is not about the infamous 219 but about the fact that they do not want the word “Civilian” in the article related to the identity of the Egyptian state.Oh yes Al Azhar also refuses the word “Civilian” , the open-minded moderate Al Azhar that fought the Muslim Brotherhood also refuses the civility of the State !!

I do not know what the problem of the sheikh is with the civility of the State. “Civilian” is not secular for God’s Sake , Civilian opposes military as far as I know !!

Anyhow this is just the tip of ice berg , you got the other Sharia related articles.

Despite the Salafists as Al Nour Party approved the Military trials in the 2012 Constitution , they declared their refusal to the military trials for civilians now in 2013. I believed that they are playing some sort of game with the military in return to keep the religious related articles as they are.

Al Nour party can mobilize its supporters against this constitution if it does not get it wants.

Now moving to the Workers and farmers’ share in the parliament. As you may know that since the 1960s and the Workers and farmers got 50% of the seats in the parliament according to the Constitution. Now it is removed from the draft Constitution. It is one of the best things ever to be honest because actually all those years the ruling party used this article to control the parliament.

The workers and farmers unions “Mostly from the Mubarak era” are against this and are vowing to vote against the constitution if it is issued without it.

Moving to the Governance System , last rumor we hear today was that the members of the Constitution committee want to have the presidential elections before the parliamentary elections in Egypt. Also we got the president vs. parliament powers article.

Here is the first published draft in Arabic.

المصري اليوم تنشر المسودة الأولى لدستور «لجنة الـ50» المعدل by Moataz Nadi

Here is also its translation by Mada Misr in English. I still need to read it thoroughly.

In case you do not know the battle for banning the military trials is still now and it definitely needs a separate post to show the hypocrisy of our political elite.

A Stolen Revolution Indeed

Posted on 11:55 by Unknown

The statements of John Kerry about how the Muslim Brotherhood stole the January revolution from the Tahrir kids echoed strongly back in Cairo. It is most powerful statement condemning and slamming the Muslim Brotherhood since the 25 January 2011 not even since 3 July 2013.

Now I have two remarks about that statement.

Well the first remark is that I am afraid that the Brotherhood was not the only thief in town that stole the revolution from those kids in Tahrir. In fact all the grown ups stole it along with the Muslim Brotherhood whether the army or the deep state or the pseudo political parties or media or Islamists or even global and regional powers. They are even fighting over the booty now.

Those kids in Tahrir square have spent the past three years between the morgue and funerals fighting the worst despair where as their revolution has been stolen over and over in front of their own eyes.

Those kids do not have anything to do except see their friends in coffins not to mention being demonized in the eyes of the public at the same time they are trying to fight fairly in a dirty war without any foreign aid or deep state aid. Those kids are the best personification of Don Quixote.

They tried to enter the realm of dirty politics but failed thanks to the older generation that insists to play according to the Mubarak’s regime game rules. The revolution is simply stolen because the Mubarak’s regime has not fallen yet for real. The revolution is stolen because the grown ups whether MB or Military or other pseudo political powers got their own agendas different from the real agenda of 25 January revolution : Freedom , Social justice equality and Democracy as a base for a strong nation.

Now the second remark : Some say that this statement or this change in the American attitudetowards Egypt is because we are returning back to the Eastern block !! Yeah this is what is being marketed in the Egyptian media now.

“We made the United States kneel down” a famous tweep in Egyptian twitterville said today in pride without knowing or understanding that the Russian FM made it clear over dozen times whether during his visit in Cairo or even in his interviews in Moscow that Russia was not replacing anyone in Egypt aka the States.

They are also ignoring the interview of the head of GIS major Genera Tohamy with WP where he made it clear that the GIS/CIA were the best friends even now. In nutshell the world is not the world in 1956 as some people hope and think especially with that wave sweeping the country on how El Sisi is the incarnation of Nasser.

John Kerry is already from the camp in the Obama that supports dialogue with the new rulers of Cairo and he expressed many times before unlike the rest of the rest of the Obama administration as well Congress and Senates that got a conservative view about Cairo now.

I believe that Obama administration does not have any problem to deal with the military on the contrary it is the United States’ favorite type of rulers but there are two obstacles facing them : The official bureaucratic thing of that foreign assistance Coup act thing and the image of the Obama administration in the American and international of aiding that “military backed government” as it is being called in international wire services now while that government is suppressing freedoms after praising the 25 January revolution and what it brought from freedoms …etc. You can not hide human rights crimes easily nowadays like in Chile from 40 years ago.

Another factor also I believe is playing role here is lobby and I am not speaking about PR lobbying company in D.C  hired by the Egyptian government but you got the infamous AIPAC as well Israeli government support the interim government too because they believe that the security campaign in Sinai against militants is in the best interest of Israel. All this is not a big secret on the contrary.

It is not a secret either that some Israeli analysts and politicians believed that Morsi and the MB were better choice because they had control of Hamas but Hamas and MB do not have REAL Control on the Salafist Jihadist groups. “Of course the Salafist Jihadists groups in Sinai turned their cannons to Cairo instead Eilat lately”

Anyhow when I look to the whole Egyptian American relations to be honest , all what I find honestly three parties trying to get D.C in their side in some stupid competition.

Of course the army relations with the United States are well known as well old and complicated then you got the Islamists aka the MB and the few non-Islamist parties trying to gain the support of the States in order to reach to the ruling chair.

The fight is about which party got more cards to play with the States, so far the army control the game historically and strategically more than the MB or those pathetic parties.

Anyhow as someone once told me , we are still in the beginning in the film.  May be the kids of Tahrir will restore their revolution hopefully alone in the end.

By the way we did not Facetime anything as Facetime is not working in Egypt and again the revolution was much more than social media one. We are also not just kids fooling around, God knows how much we feel old nowadays.

#MohamedMahmoud : Whitewashing our own Egyptian Karbala

Posted on 12:48 by Unknown
And in some sad irony that is rather closer to a farce the Egyptian government decided officially commemorate the martyrs of Mohamed Mahmoud 2011 clashes .. and the martyrs of army and police as well.
The government already gave orders to some company called El Abed from 5 days ago to build some memorial to commemorate the martyrs of the 25 January and 30 June revolution martyrs and the construction only started on Saturday. The memorial which is built from a very bad material looks indeed like the famous Yellow Submarine !!
The memorial now
Some tent where the government and the police can receive condolences for the martyrs, oh yes some cruel irony !! The cruel irony does not stop here.
The police issued a statement to commemorate the martyrs saying that it respected reviving the memory of all martyrs for their role in the process of national work including those whose blood soaked the tree of national struggle !! This is unbelievable !!
The government or rather the deep state is rather trying to white wash what had done there.
And as our people in Upper Egypt say “We do not accept condolences in our men who are killed except after retribution”  and indeed one of Egypt’s main problems now is retribution aka justice. Simple justice !! Since 25 January 2011 no policeman accused of killing or injuring the protesters was found guilty except may be one : El Shennawy , the eye hunter of Mohamed Mahmoud street who is serving three years only !! Oh yes three years only !!
A pro Military poster !!
This is a farce indeed. The right commemoration of Mohamed Mahmoud clashes is through justice , true justice .. anything else is just a farce.
That farce was expected as there were introductory signs paving for it.
Already all the Pro-Mubarak/Pro-Military TV hosts and channels were calling the Pro-army supporters to go to Tahrir square in order to protest against terrorism and to commemorate the martyrs of the army , police and revolutionary activists on the 19th November. Al Ahram newspaper warned last Friday from some cosmic conspiracy against police and army on that day !!

I forget to say that the 19th is also General El Sisi’s birthday too !! Cairo will host too the Ghana vs. Egypt and the Constitution 50 committee will finish voting on the constitution !! Man it is a cosmic conspiracy indeed !!
To avoid clashes with the Muslim brotherhood and the Pro-Military, some revolutionary groups, parties and youth decided to commemorate the event a day earlier on the 18 November 2013. The decision was 5 PM there will be a rally heading from Mohamed Mahmoud to Jaber Salah aka Jika’s home at Abdeen. The event planners made it clear that the Muslim brotherhood and the Pro-Military supporters are not welcome
Revolutionary poster
supported by the families of the martyrs. And so tomorrow at
Other groups decided to go on 19 November 2013 giving no damn to the Muslim brotherhood and those Pro-Military supporters. Among those groups April 6 Youth movement. One of them told me that they would not let the MB or the Pro-military control the street anymore.
By the way some decided to the street both days.
Initially announcing that they will protest in Mohamed Mahmoud street, the Muslim brotherhood and its Islamist allies decided not to go to Mohamed Mahmoud street and decided to commemorate it in other squares. Anyhow pathetic Muslim brotherhood is now trying to white wash itself from what happened in Mohamed Mahmoud claiming that what happened there was an attempt to turn the revolutionary forces against each other.
Unfortunately it happened in digital time where visual and audio archives are there including their own archives.
Yes the leaderships of the MB and Islamists were attacking the protesters but I cannot forget that some MB youth defied the orders of the guidance office and went to Mohamed Mahmoud clashes in 2011 like for instance late Asmaa El Beltagy. The Salafist Youth were dragged to the clashes thanks to Hazem Salah Abu Ismail , of course the Sheikh escaped and left them in front of the monster to face death. It was the start of the Hazemoon movement there.
I can not ignore this.
Honestly I feel that the police , army and government fear Mohamed Mahmoud anniversary and what may happen then. They do not want anyone to touch Tahrir square , they will let the revolutionaries have Mohamed Mahmoud square but not the square. Some say that the state fears that the MB supporters would control the revolution square in Egypt while others say that the State is sending a message that it gained a control on the square that drank the blood of hundreds of protesters and injured in the past 3 years.
Well I always believe it was a mistake to limit the revolution in a square and it turned out that the wicked deep state believes that the revolution was something born and would die in Tahrir square. I fear the revolution process is much complicated than that. Fools do not learn from their mistakes as well the arrogant and the evil.
It did not stop at shifting the blame to the Muslim brotherhood that stood and incited against those thugs who tried to stop the progress of democracy and elections but actually the Old Pro-Mubarak media began to market that actually the MB killed the protesters at Mohamed Mahmoud street !! Despite hundreds of photos and videos incriminating the Egyptian security forces and showing them firing their guns against protesters.
I did not forget what the MB politicians and opportunists did back then , I did not forget either what the media , honorable citizens , SCAF and Police used to said and do !! Yes what they did !!
Tomorrow insh Allah I will blog the big day. By the way some fear that people may get killed once again in the anniversary of Mohamed Mahmoud , to be honest I won’t be surprised but unfortunately as murder and death have become a justified routine in Egypt it won’t make a difference with the majority of the people in Egypt that do not give a damn anymore.
I have not forgotten yet Mohamed Mahmoud.
Have we forgotten Mohamed Mahmoud ?

Regarding the WP's interview with #Egypt intelligence Chief

Posted on 12:22 by Unknown
Washington Post made another scoop today , it published an interview with Egypt’s current  intelligence chief major General Farid El Tohamy.
It is the first interview for the head of Egypt’s General intelligence after being appointed in that position in July 2013 in the media whether foreign or local one.
Of course our Egyptian media is focusing that Tohamy said it clearly : We still have got the best relations with CIA more than any other foreign intelligence agency.
Our currently spy chief was interviewed by David Ignatius , the famous American national security and novelist who once interviewed Hassan Nasrallah. It is a rare thing. I do not think that we had an intelligence chief in office interviewed by foreign reporters like before.
It is the worth to mention that Washington Post was the first to interview General Abdel Fatah El Sisi before any local media in August 2013.
The timing of that unexpected interview is interesting as it comes right after the New York Times’ report and profile about El Tohamy.
Some may think  PR campaign in Washington began its work by clearing the image of the spy chief after being attacked in NY Times especially that all the  Pro-Mubarak figures and supporters on the social media believe now that this interview set the record straight after NY Times piece and WP beat the NY Times.
Of course some of them are even claiming on their Facebook Pages that the Egyptian intelligence were  the one that exposed the NSA scandal and that’s why NY Times is attacking El Tohamy !! Unfortunately they have not heard about Edward Snowdon or even read the interview carefully !!
Ignatius did not ignore the NY Times’ profile and linked it in his interview.
To be honest I do not think that the interview glorifies El Tohamy because its focus was mainly on the American-Egyptian intelligence relations and the man’s answer was clear that despite our recent rocky relation with the Obama administration , our intelligence agency’s relations with the CIA are still the strongest.
This interview is actually interesting that it comes in the same time official Cairo is preparing to welcome warmly the Russian defense minister with talk of big deals of arms and guns paid by our brothers in the Gulf.
By the way I still remember very well the reports published in Sawt Al Oma weekly newspaper in 2011 accusing El Tohamy of corruption.I wonder what its revolutionary editor in chief Abdel Halim Qandil thinks about El Tohamy now. Already Qandil is accusing Morsi’s spy chief Raafat Shehata of corruption in his newspaper’s issue this week.
Now speaking about the Spy chiefs , I can ignore all the rumors and talk in Cairo nowadays that former Spy Chief Mourad Mowafi got some presidential ambitions just like Sami Anan !!

The Curious Case of Sami Anan

Posted on 15:24 by Unknown
The name of former general Sami Anan is back again to the front after being absent for nearly year. Suddenly we are having a flood of his photos in the civilian suite in some strange Facebook page called “The popular campaign to demand General Sami Anan to run for the presidency” which appeared suddenly from no where last October 19, 2013.
Now the Page admins claim that some of them are ex-military while other some are from none other late Omar Suleiman’s presidential campaign and allegedly Ahmed Shafiq’s campaign. The Ahmed Shafiq’s official campaign denied that it was supporting the former general in the upcoming presidential race.
Anyhow It seems that the campaign has got telephone number at least their office .. in Qena according to the stencils on the buildings there. “They consider the stencils as graffiti”
That so-called popular campaign to convince the general to run for president page is full of personal photos taken for Anan in a civilian suit.

In his salon I think

Reading Al Ahram newspaper in his garden

Smiling to the camera
This is a personal photo-shoot session without doubt.
When I saw these photos , all what I thought about was how big a chief of staff’s salary was to have this luxurious villa or even Palace in New Cairo !? yeah I am bit naïve, but you know one of the misconceptions that the army officers are extremely rich living in compounds , well the average army officer or even average major general does not live in such palace or villa despite what is being said about the army’s economic empire.
Of course I can not neglect the fact that General Anan has dyed his hair to appear young or how that page is claiming that General Anan is the best presidential candidate to represent revolutionary youth !!! Oh yes to the end of that strange talk that makes you wonder if this is a parody page or what !!?
Needless to say the Social media users could not miss this opportunity and made fun of this photos turning them in to memes in less than 72 hours !!
Here is a collection of the photos published by Contemporary Art Page.

Now we got a special Tumblr blog “Electoral Alsh” and Facebook Pages with all General Anan’s memes like “Sami Anan’s campaign to teach Photoshop” and “ Sami Anan’s presidential campaign to teach Photoshop”
Of course some have started to ask how the case would be if it were Abdel Fatah El Sisi instead of Anan.
Well Meme makers in Egypt did not leave Egypt’s military savior alone in the past weeks especially with his famous quotes like “You are the light of my eyes” .. etc. Still it did not meet the same success after all Anan is from the few people all Egyptians whether revolutionaries , Pro-Islamists and Pro-Military agreed to hate and mock so far.
Yes it seems that Anan united a lot of people to hate him. The revolutionaries can not forget what happened during SCAF rule and how many people were killed during his rule.
The Pro-Military/Pro-Mubarak/Pro-Sisi Anti-Revolutionaries hate him because they believe that he sold the country to the Muslim brotherhood and the Americans not to mention that he turned against Mubarak. Ironically he was not alone in this, Abdel Fatah El Sisi.
The Muslim brotherhood and their supporters hate him because he is a military man.
The Pro-Military media began to attack the General madly too as well. It is not a big secret that it seems there is wrong between the current commandership of the army and Anan , at least this is the reaction you got not from the Pro-Military media only but also the Pro-Military Facebook pages and accounts of army officers and supported unofficially by the army.
When a military Facebook page like Egypt Military Pictures mocks the former chief of staff explicitly then this means something.

I do not understand for real that Sami Anan affair especially that hate relation between the army and its former chief of staff now. It started last September when suddenly we found Al Watan newspaper which is too close to all sort of security apparatuses in the country publishing what they claimed to be Anan’s memories about the 25 January revolution.
After releasing those memories in Al Watan , we found the official spokesperson of armed forces  Col. Ali went ballistic issuing a statement warning of publishing alleged memories of ex-military men in that critical time without the army’s permission was a dangerous thing to the end of that talk. We knew that he was speaking about none other than Anan.
Amazingly nobody has spoken directly to Anan from the media whether about his alleged memories or about that Presidential campaign.
Anyhow there is something I do not understand from the memories in Pro-Military Watan to that pathetic Facebook page to the silence of the man already.
Will Anan be the scapegoat of the military ?? Will He play a new role in the future ? Will he be the next Omar Suleiman in the presidential elections ??
Are we going to have a face off between Anan and Sisi in the Presidential elections ??
A trivial fact ousted President Morsi issued a presidential decree last August giving immunity to both Anan and Tantawy against accountability. The decree has not been cancelled yet.
In the end , here is a certificate from Sufi order published online about Sami Anan claiming that he is the great grandson of none other than Omar !! Oh yes Omar Ibn El Khatab !!

The certificate !!

Man if Omar saw Anan and his cronies !!

And The Military court gives Mohamed Sabry Suspended Jail Term

Posted on 13:29 by Unknown

An Ismailia military court sentenced Sinai based journalist and dear friend Mohamed Sabry a suspended six months in jail for filming military areas in Sinai.

Sabry, a Sinai based journalist and a member of the “No to military trials” campaign was arrested in January 2013 and was accused of filming military areas on the borders.

This is the third military court’s verdict concerning an Egyptian journalist issued by a military court in less than a month. He is also the first journalist from Sinai to be prosecuted in front of military court. Sabry was arrested in time of Morsi too.

By the way Sabry’s camera, a Canon 6D was confiscated since his arrest and has not been returned to him yet.

On 5 October, a military court sentenced Sinai-based Al Masry Al Youm newspaper journalist Ahmed Abu-Deraa. Six months in jail. That sentence was later suspended. Abu Daraa was accused of publishing false news and rumors about military operations in Sinai. Abu Daraa praised the military judiciary after his release !!

Last 30 October, another military court sentenced Al Watan newspaper journalist Hatem Abu Nour to a year in prison on Tuesday over allegations that he impersonated military personnel. Abu Nour’s story is very strange because we did not know about it except after his sentence.

Searching online you will find that Hatem disappeared from last August and his brother accused the MB to stand his disappearance then !!

The too close to the military and security apparatuses newspaper Al Watan is now demanding its journalist release.

The military trials for civilians have been causing a controversy recently as human rights activists demand to ban the military trials for civilians in the upcoming amended constitution.

It is one of the major points the army is insisting in the constitution. For record the Freedoms and rights committee is against it.

Dear CBC Why Serious Face ? He did not speak about the Emperor For God Sake !!

Posted on 15:08 by Unknown
I 'm the clown ..
Why did you stand up !?
Why did you get scared !?
I neither have a sword in my hand nor a horse below me !!
How Strange...
                                                                                                                 Salah Jahin
I remember these words as soon as I heard that CBC TV network issued a statement last night regarding Bassem Youssef's controversial third season premiere that is causing controversy in Egypt. The Statement was read by Lamees El Hadidy. The CBC network apologizes for some of what was said in Bassem Youssef's show last Friday.

"CBC will continue to be supportive of the basics of national sentiment and popular will, and is keen on not using phrases and innuendos that may lead to mocking national sentiment or symbols of the Egyptian state," a CBC statement said.
On Twitter, the official CBC account also said that the board of directors also had reservations about some of the content on Friday's episode of El-Bernameg.
Amazingly how CBC thought that mocking Morsi in the past reason was freedom of expression when he was officially the head of the state and the commander in chief of the Egyptian armed forces.
It is getting silly for real.

The debate has not stopped and needless to say the TV hosts that were mocked and criticized in the show went mad  for real. Already not less 5 complaints against Bassem Youssef have been reported to the prosecutor general including a complaint by C List actress Ghada Abdel Razek and another complaint by El Sisi for presidency campaign.
Of course I can not ignore that State commissioners authority's recommendation to the administrative court last Thursday to retry Bassem Youssef for insulting the president as a symbol of Egypt.
In that episode Bassem Youssef's show , the world renowned satirist did not speak about the Naked emperor directly or mocked him. He only spoke about the Naked emperor's hypocrite entourage !!
The Egyptian people , the true people I saw in the streets in the past 24 hours were not offended nor angry as it is being shown in the media.
FYI the CEO of CBC and its owner Mohamed Al Amin attended the shooting of that episode and it seemed that he was okay with it.
Journalists say that the commanders of the Egyptian army were angry from the episode and that's why Mohamed Al Amin got allegedly some angry calls in the morning forcing him to issue that statement.
Anyhow Col. Ahmed Ali , the official spokesperson of armed forces denied officially that El Sisi or any commander had spoken about Bassem's show in a pinned statement on his official Facebook page. The Colonel's groupies of course are cursing Bassem. The colonel was featured shortly in the show by the way in case you did not notice. Of course I still believe that we can find him as a guest in the show in the future.
It is worth to mention that the Pro-Sisi supporters claimed that the general was more than welcoming to be mocked if it pleased the public according to some shady untrusted website in Canada !!
So now after gagging voices like Reem Magued "who got no TV show in the new season plan in ONTV for the first time" and even comic shows like Youssef's are not allowed because suddenly we discover that we should not laugh from the symbols of the State !!
The TV , radio and press all had this disgusting tune to shut any voice to speak about the emperor in a disgusting way. Now we are being lectured that we should not mock our national icons or dare to speak about army from near or far or its commanders. Now we are being lectured that we should not dare to speak from near or far in this time about El Sisi. I wonder what will happen if he is elected as a president !!
I thought that 30 June was to assert on the freedom of expression we got back on 25 January !!
In the end I have nothing to end this post except by this clip from "Good luck and good night"

#Egymedia : Bassem Youssef Starts his show and his enemies are ready for war !!

Posted on 07:21 by Unknown

This post should have been written right after the end of Bassem Youssef’s season three premiere but thanks to an awful migraine I had , it was postponed.

First here is the full episode. The first part was about June 30 and whether it is a revolution or coup then the second part was about the crazy El Sisi-Mania in media and the third part was a serious message about the show’s policy in the new era.

El Bernmag : Season 3 episode one–”Arabic”

I think the best part was the third one ,the show’s policy in the new era. Bassem Youssef said it clearly we did not replace the religious fascism with nationalist fascism or in another words military fascism.

The Islamists are angry from Bassem Youssef as usual. Already they used to hate him during Morsi so there is nothing new about it.

The new thing is the reaction of the Pro-military rule/Pro-El Sisi supporters who used to cheer for Bassem . The Pro-Military supporters are extremely angry because the famous satirist dared and spoke about the general !! He did not even mock him directly.

The last two parts made the Pro-Military and Pro-Sisi supporters especially the from the anti-25 Jan revolution haters aka felol go coco online and offline. Suddenly those people remembered how Bassem and his show are not family friendly and that his producer comes from a Muslim brotherhood family .. etc.

As I hinted before Bassem Youssef did not mock even general El Sisi directly and yet the general’s groupies went mad with crazy comments online. “Bassem is jealous from El Sisi , die Bassem we still love him” and so on !! It was just crazy !!

I am afraid those people should know that this is the tax of getting engaged in politics , General El Sisi and the army want to engage in politics then they have to bear the consequences.

Needless to say I am astonished with the comment of the self claimed major general Sameh Seif El Yazal on Facebook.

Seif El Yazal is one hell piece of work without doubt. The former intelligence officer claiming to be a general “he is not”- turned in to national security/Strategic analyst- slammed Bassem Youssef in a  very serious Facebook post shared 1,288 times. The strategic analyst said that insulting General El Sisi and the army was in the best interest of the Muslim brotherhood now.

He also added that he knew that the episode had a negative impact on the morale of the Egyptian armed forces yesterday !!

As far as I know El Yazal , the CEO of G4S branch in Egypt is retired intelligence army officer so I do not know how he could survey the Egyptian armed forces in less than 24 hours to know their reaction.

Not to mention what kind of armed forces is this that would be affected by those segments for God sake !? What El Yazal claimed actually in my point of view is more insulting to the armed forces and its men than the episode of Bassem Youssef altogether !!

Already we woke up to find some guy presenting reporting Bassem Youssef to the prosecution office for defaming and insulting minister of defense Abdel Fatah El Sisi.

This man is none other Judge Ahmed El Fadaly, the head of the Muslim youth association. This man is already among the accused in the battle of the camel massacre in 2011.He is known to be another Pro-Mubarak Pro-Military supporter.

I found also this Facebook page made by the military El Sisi fans in Egypt “Not the Egyptian army and its icons you clown !!” and the same old accusations are back “He is a US agent from ElBaradei gang”. Same thing was echoed in the General’s fan page “Ultras El Sisi” that is promising Bassem Youssef with hell for mocking the great revolution of 3 July ,the army and the general.

Now Youssef is being called a clown by both clown the Islamists and El Sisi fans , the clown that scares everybody.Oh yes we moved forward from the religious icons to military icons !!

I expressed my opinion as well my concerns about Youssef’s show before. I believe that this was a balanced start for Bassem Youssef and his show. The real test will be in the upcoming days and from what I see that won’t be easy test.

Again I fear that Bassem Youssef show would turn in to some sort of buffer zone , the revolutionary vent to absorb the people’s anger and refusal to the regime.

Anyhow I will end this post with what Bassem tweeted last night.

ماكنتش حلقة في برنامج يا جدعان.

— Dr Bassem Youssef (@DrBassemYoussef) October 25, 2013

Guys it is just an episode in some show !!

And El Sisi Mania goes on and on

Posted on 11:22 by Unknown

As if we are destined to see new levels of hypocrisy  when it comes to El Sisi Mania in Egypt every week. From cupcakes to chocolate to necklaces bearing the "CC" initials to endless columns and op-eds as well TV shows and interviews hailing the new idol of the Nile valley in the Egyptian mainstream media .
Whenever you think this will stop , you will be shocked on how some will go far.
This week in al Akhbar daily newspaper columnist Akram El Saadani demanding no mercy for those spreading chaos in Egypt taking example from England riots and that Egypt needs a leader like General El Sisi. Of course what said about England riots was from another world including the claim that the army aided the police to take control of London. "Cameron said that he may use the army in future riots only"

He is free to say and claim what he wanted of course this but he concluded op-ed with the following words :
Do whatever You want El Sisi as the poet told Caliph El Hafiz of Egypt  :
Rule, you are the One ,the Subduer.*
Rule as if you were like Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" and your supporters are Like Ansar !!
*"The One , the Subduer" are from the names of Almighty God known in the Islamic beliefs as Al Asmaa Al Hosna and usually associated with God and not humans.
This is a new level indeed , comparing Abdel Fatah El Sisi to God Almighty and Prophet Mohamed !!! No one will top El Saadani I believe in the hypocrisy wall of shame !!!

By the way, there are beliefs spreading especially among middle class and low class ladies that General El Sisi is mentioned in the Holy Quran !! It is no surprise actually because I have seen tweets on twitter by El Sisi fans claiming that Prophet Mohamed “PBUH” prophesized the general’s coming as the new leader of the Muslim world !!!!!!!
This is besides the messages sent through the military Facebook pages and the alleged officers twitter Sisi to God and Prophet Mohamed, Comparing to Omar is nothing .
Some El Sisi Pro-Nationalist Anti-American poster
accounts that Egypt needs another Omar !! Of course after comparing El El
So much for a revolution allegedly took place to stop the abuse of religion in politics by the Muslim brotherhood !!!
We used to criticize and mock how the Muslim brotherhood and Islamists turn Morsi in to a holy figure blessed by Prophet Mohamed “PBUH” and the Holy Spirit but now we are not allowed to criticize those turning El Sisi in to a false God !!
It is just scary , the man has not been elected yet as a president not to mention he did not say that he would run yet. “Reuters is claiming that the general now is leaning to towards the idea , especially that the officers of the army are supporting the idea”
You can imagine how things will be if the general becomes a president !!
By the way I meet people everyday now from the general's admirers who believe that he saved Egypt for real , those people actually believe that it is better to have him as minister of defense than there president. "It will be stupidity from him to run for the presidency , we need him as minister of defense more urgently now" I swear I heard this view from people in the street from different backgrounds.
Nevertheless the counter view , the growing one says that Egypt needs a strongman to restore order and that there is no other contender against the general nor there is other alternative than the army and the general. This view does not see the fact that the general is just a human not a god that will save Egypt from its deadly problems. This view does not see the fact that the problems of Egypt do not a charismatic 1960s style leader from the military institution as much it needs a true political and social as well economic revolution to save the Egyptian state itself from decay.
Back to El Sisi-mania, I hope that what Sandmony aka Mahmodu Salem said in his column this week in Daily News Egypt will be true and it begins to fade.
