#AblaFahita , the master Spy of #Vodafone or this is how you attract #FDI to #Egypt and fight terrorists !!! "Updated"

Posted on 07:09 by Unknown
And 2013 swore not to leave us any hope when it comes to the future of Egypt and here I am not speaking about clashes or bombings but about mentality.
Do you remember how Pro-Mubarak/Pro-Military conspiracy theorist Sameh Abu Arayes accused Abla Fahita puppet of being a spy !? Well guess what , today the regional manager of Vodafone Egypt stood in front of state security prosecution in order to explain the meaning of Abla Fahita.
Vodafone and Abla Fahita were reported to the prosecutor general’s office by Pro-Military Anti-25Jan self claimed activist Ahmed Spider for sending encrypted messages from the Muslim Brotherhood leaders to the members in Egypt including dangerous messages about terrorist attacks !!!
This is not a joke , it is a bitter reality.
First of all ,here is the ad starring the famous Abla Fahita about the new year’s offers from Vodafone. It is hilarious.
Yesterday in the New Year’s Eve we found State security journalist turned in to TV host speaking about this on his TV show along with former singer and current Freemasonry and espionage expert Ahmed Spider about this horrifying spy Abla Fahita.
It was not a parody act in the New Year’s eve , I swear it was serious to the level that Vodafone Egypt PR spoke in Moussa’s show swearing there was nothing wrong. The man could not believe what he was facing actually in front of those two strange creatures with no brain.

Many people are trying to find a logic justification for what happened. Some claim that that could be a cheap attempt from Ahmed Moussa and Tahrir channel to blackmail Vodafone in order to sponsor the channel’s shows and so on. I am afraid it is not about the revolutionary channel turned in to a Felol channel in some irony representing the situation in Egypt. Infamous "Al Faraeen TV" channel exposed the huge conspiracy behind the latest Vodafone's ad too as well !!
“El Faraeen” and its founder Tawfik Okasha are too close to the current regime especially security apparatuses to the level that they arrest people upon his request in less 48 hours for doing the Rabaa sign in photos with him !! This is more than comedy act.
Here is a video from his channel where there was a discussion about the dangerous Fahita !!
The Pro-Police Facebook pages also kept publishing posts about Abla Fahita and its encoded messages.
Here is a post by the so-called Media center of MOI on Facebook in the 48 hours madly. I hate to tell them that terrorists do not wait till Vodafone produces an ad worth of thousands of pounds to know the latest instructions. There are hundreds of secured and even unsecured instant messaging apps that can do the job easily for God's sake !!

Post by ‎الجهاز الإعلامى لوزارة الداخلية‎.

MOI's Media Department : The pages of Abla Fahita was using unknown symbols and codes whether secretly or publicly "!!" which is against the state's policy and what the law warned of. We do not know whether if these are true symbols or fake symbols in order to confuse the state's apparatus either ways it is against the law. The administrators of Abla Fahita should be questioned according to the law and we are waiting the prosecution's warrant to arrest those administrators and those who cooperated with them. FYI those administrators are well known to security.
FYI the administrators or rather the creator of Abla Fahita is well known for many people especially in advertising so it is not a big secret.
Also I want to say that terrorists have won already if the administrators are truly police officers assigned to protect us !!
It is worth to mention that the ministry of interior stated before those pages were not official but amazingly in times like this it does not close them or even angry that the admins are claiming to be officers.
Tawfik Okasha , Ahmed Moussa and Ahmed Spider as well Amr Mostafa and Pro-Military/Pro-Police Facebook pages do not act alone , they are more puppets than Abla Fahita and Carolina.
Their puppeteer is sending a great message to Foreign investors and multinational companies!?
In fact What kind of message you want to send to the Egyptians and to the world as well by making conspiracy theorist losers who are totally against 25 January revolution like Amr Mostafa and Ahmed Spider not to mention all the retired army generals aka Self claimed Strategic analysts speak all the time about cosmic conspiracies against Egypt and how the Muslim Brotherhood control UK and US through Muslims around the globe !?
The scary part is that I do not really think that he does understand the implications of such actions whether on short or medium or even the long term.
The Vodafone spy Abla Fahita !!
One day there is could be a real threat and people won’t believe anyone, it is a lesson we know since our childhood.
Does the current regime in Egypt or the deep state want Vodafone to leave Egypt !? I swear to God I am trying to find a serious justification but can not !! I kept thinking all day long to the level that I thought it were a devilish company by Vodafone !!!!
Is this some sort of diversion plan created to make the mainstream media busy in something trivial !?
I just do not understand , I swear I do not know !!
The Pro-Military/Pro-Mubarak supporters now are claiming that it was important to investigate Abla Fahita because “we do not know for real the truth” , “Everything is possible !?” and of course the favorite justification , Muslim Brotherhood member and former minister of investment Yahia Hamed was one of the top executives in Vodafone plus Vodafone is British and London now is the capital of the MB in the world !!!!!!!!!!!! Ironically I think we got at least two ministers of telecommunication who worked in Vodafone and they were all approved by GIS !!
I can not believe those guys write on their twitter account !?
Is this how we are going to be advanced civilized country , the country that interim Presidential advisers Ahmed El Muslimany and Mostafa Higazy always speak about !?Is there a hope to end this hysteria !?

Updated at 2/1/2014

  • Now in some historical non-precedent thing in Egypt that we have not seen before : Online debate or rather Confrontation between Ahmed Spider and Lady Abla Fahita on air !! Oh yes on CBC channel TV host Khairy Ramdan's show had this unforgettable episode or rather segment !! You know the end of civilization , this is the end of the human civilization without doubt.

  • Spider Vs. Fahita !! Oh God and spider : I will send her "the Puppet" to jail , I will send her jail otherwise I will leave Egypt !!
  • First Abla Fahita spoke on air with TV host Mahmoud Saad who clearly did not know her and they had this strange conversation
  • Spider now believes that the puppeteer is a man , an intelligence officer who lives abroad just like the investigations implied "What investigation" and that anyone knows now Fahita's voice is man's voice !!!!!
  • He is also sharing some photo for some employees in Vodafone in Halloween doing the Rabaa sign claiming that they are the crew behind the ad !!
  • General El Sisi Fan pages on the Facebook as well the Pro-Military Facebook pages are encouraging people to  boycott Vodafone spreading lies about Fahita !!
  • Egypt's Conspiracy theorists Sameh Abu Arayes and Ahmed Spider are fighting over the royalty rights on who exposed the the conspiracy and the dangerous code first !!

Our own NSA scandal

Posted on 04:48 by Unknown
Instead of speaking about the global NSA scandal and how the United States spied on our communications in Egypt hoping that our current government would do something like other governments when it claims independence and bravery against the U.S , we find out that our phone calls leaked and aired on air on TV.

In the past three weeks , Self claimed TV host, Islamist movements specialist and well known State security writer Dr.Abdel Rahim Ali has been airing phone calls recorded in 2011 for prominent activists that played a role  in the 25 January 2011 revolution on Al Kahera Wal Nas TV channel in order to expose them as fraud and prove that the January 25 revolution was a Muslim Brotherhood Global Conspiracy. It is not a big secret that the TV channel of Advertising tycoon Tarek Nour is a Pro-Mubarak police channel and  it is not a big secret either that Abdel Rahim is connected to state security.

Nothing in the calls aired on Al Qahera Wal Nas is truly scandalous or shocking or even surprising as some claim and act accordingly lately in a silly way. For instance from two days ago one of the audio leaks is for activist Asmaa Mahfouz asking another activist she knows whether they found her file in the State security after its storming in March 2011 just like thousands of Egyptians who asked their friends who were in the capital of hell in that night. People now are acting as if they did not know that the State security was allegedly stormed in 2011 by the approval of the army.

Still the Mubarak orphans and those longing for the old good days of the police state are doing a big fuss about and using it to hit those group of activists. Amazingly that group of activists currently under the fire of Abdel Rahim Ali is the same group of activists that had been groomed by the media right after the revolution in January 2011 and were crowned as symbols of the revolution just like Tahrir square. I hate to say that I wrote before this was going to happen.
They are also the same group of activists that have been widely criticized by other revolutionaries for not being revolutionary enough like for instance Mostafa Al Nagar and Ahmed Maher.

Now I do not care much about the content of these calls leaked on TV as much I care the privacy and legal status of such act.In any other respectable country an investigation should be opened on who recorded these calls for what reason and whether it was recorded legally “Court or prosecution's permission” or how it was aired like this is.

Abdel Rahim Ali claims that they were recorded by the orders of the prosecution and yet he fails to answer on how they are leaked and why they are aired this on air. Did the Egyptian general prosecution order them to be aired like that !? In March 2011 after the so-called storming of the State security supervised by the army "that collected all the documents from the good revolutionary youth then" , former minister of interior El Eissawy claimed that there would be no more illegal wiretapping anymore and no one would spy on the calls and emails of the activists except by legal warrant.

Ali is acting like a brave man knowing the legendary Egyptian deep state is going to save him but realistically speaking he can face a jail sentence over his actions. I do need to speak about the legal responsibility of Al Kahera Wal Nas.  By the way Abdel Rahman Youssef , Ahmed Shoukry and Mostafa Al Nagar declared that they were going to take a legal action against him and the channel

In respectable civilized country , Mobinil “Orange” , Vodafone and Etisalat need to explain on how the calls of their clients from Pro-25January revolution political activists were tapped and aired on TV like that. Of course their CEOs think they are in the safe side because of the current regime but you know nothing is forever and one day they will pay the price and it won’t be good for their image whether locally or internationally.

Of course the Pro-Police/Military state people are cheering for this ignoring the fact that they can be next even after decades."It will happen I am sure because I believe in Karma now".
I do not speak about the human rights and law to those people because they won't listen and refuse listen. Those people ironically were mad on how the MB used allegedly to spy on the phone calls of the officials in the State !! Ironically indeed.

I know it can be hard in a country like Egypt where the majority of people have been oppressed for years to know that no one has the right what so ever to record or spy on people's personal telecommunications without court's permission or the general prosecution's permission. They are giving up essential right but part of me can not blame them when I see the amount of fear and spread in the media. The people should know that there is no use in a weak state that breaks and misuse the law in order to get back at its opponents , it is a failed state.
And yes January 25 revolution is being attacked and fought cyrstal clear by the approval of the current regime.

Ansar Beit Al Maqids : The real Terrorist Group stands up

Posted on 12:59 by Unknown
Some tweep said that militant Jihadist Ansar Beit Al Maqids group was jealous from the Muslim Brotherhood as the later was designated officially as terrorist organization by the Egyptian government on Wednesday despite the Sinai militant group claimed responsibility for the bombing of Mansoura security directorate and so we had Thursday’s Nasr city homemade bombs.
Of course no one has claimed responsibility for the bombs of Nasr city which injured 5 citizens badly yet.
Well the Sinai based militant group whose operations shocked the Egyptians whether in Sinai or Cairo or Ismailia or Mansoura  released a new video representing themselves to the public again as if it feels offended on how it was ignored by the government.
It is typical Jihadist video , the narrator speaks in Non Egyptian accent Classical Arabic and if I am not mistaken he is not an Egyptian. You got the same rhetoric of Jihadists that considers the army as infidel and agent.
Ansar Beit Al Maqdis’ message to the Egyptian people
Interestingly there is a historical mistake in this video that the army used to launch campaigns against Jihadists during the time of Mubarak , well according to my knowledge it was the police as the army was not allowed to go that deep in Sinai in this way. The video claimed that Beit Al Maqids used to blow the gas pipeline in Sinai during the time of Mubarak , again as far as I know it started to blow up on a regular basis in 2011 after the revolution.
A friend of mine also noticed that the verses of the Quran read in the introduction of the video was actually related to praying teachings in war time not actually Jihad related verses.
Some experts in Islamist and Jihadist groups say that this was one of the weakest videos ever produced by the notorious group.
The militant group started to target the army and police after what they called “El Sisi’s coup”
The video allegedly also accused Morsi of not raising the Islamic banner slamming the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Nour party , I am not surprised actually because in the end Ansar Beit Al Maqids is a Jihadist group that considers anyone that gets engage in the democratic process an infidel.
The Pro-Military supporters and media claim that Ansar Beit Al Maqids is a MB subsidiary. There is no official proof about this except bunch of untrusted statements and leaks about prosecution’s investigations in our mainstream tabloid media.
It is more complicated than that from I read , heard and know about that group from experts in Sinai affairs and Islamist movements. Even the possible relation between that Salafist Jihadist group with the Brotherhood is complicated as you can see in the video.
Personally I believe that it is not about the Muslim Brotherhood or Morsi’s presidency or even about Rabaa massacres’ victims just it is not about the struggle in the occupied territories in Palestine.
The Pro-Muslim Brotherhood supporters and media claim that Ansar Beit Al Maqid is a fake group created by the army and intelligence to justify the crackdown against the Islamists , it is not.
Ansar Beit Al Maqids group is a real Jahidist militant group and unfortunately Siyad Qutb’s radical bloody though plays an important role in its doctrines. Unfortunately the radical doctrines and thoughts of Qutb are finding their way among the Islamist youth which no longer believe in democracy.
Of course the Muslim Brotherhood leaderships whether inside or outside Egypt “the free or detained” can end the argument of the MB and Ansar Beit Al Maqids by issuing an official statement condemning and attacking the actions of that militant terrorist group explicitly.
Speaking of Ansar Beit Al Maqids , I can not ignore how TV channel and News website Sada El Balad claimed that the Sinai based militant group declared on twitter that it was not responsible for the blast on Thursday. Luckily the website showed a screenshot for the alleged tweet and account and so as social media junkie , I went to check it. I did not expect to see twitter’s blue verification sign and I did not expect either to see a private account !! Oh yes the alleged Ansar Beit Al Maqids’ account on twitter is private except for few including the journalists in Sada El Balad news website and channel !!
Using bad Arabic language that does not suite an ultra-conservative Jihadist Salafist group , the account amazingly says that it is an official page for Ansar Al Maqids but it follows them !!!!!
By the way there are no rebels in Sinai , there are radical Jihadist groups. Yes there are human rights abuses in Sinai and yes we need news policies whether security policies or political policies to save Sinai before it is too late but there are no rebels in Sinai. Unfortunately the people of Sinai are stuck between a government that does not learn from its mistakes and heartless terrorist group as well smugglers and arms dealers.
What I see now that the army is achieving victories for extremely high price “ its relation with the locals in Sinai” versus the terrorists whose operations reached to the valley boldly. I do not know anything but I would say we need a new intelligence plan that minimizes casualties as well human rights abuses and yes you can achieve it.
In real civilian democracies all the officials responsible for national security , terrorism , intelligence and defense are seriously questioned by the parliament’s national security committee whether publicly or secretly in order to see the progress of the counter-terrorism operations and how effective its progress is.
Since August 2012 and the murder of our soldiers and even before that the locals in Sinai were warning from the Salafist Jihadists but no one was listening. We need to know what happened since August 2012 for real , I do not want lies and cheap propaganda. I know I speak in vain but it is better than being a silent devil if you know what I mean.
As long as there is no true accountability , we will never admit our mistakes or even try to mend them.

The Last Tweet of #Chatah

Posted on 02:45 by Unknown
This is the last tweet by former Lebanese minister Mohamed Chatah on twitter , just one hour before his assassination in Beirut in another huge explosion that rocked the city earlier this morning.
#Hezbollah is pressing hard to be granted similar powers in security & foreign policy matters that Syria exercised in Lebanon for 15 yrs.
— Mohamad B Chatah (@mohamad_chatah) December 27, 2013
The last tweet just one hour before his assassination.
The more moderate people are killed and forced to shut up , the more  radicals flourish. A fact we know in the hard way in the Middle East !!

#1954Redux : Muslim Brotherhood is officially a terrorist organization

Posted on 12:49 by Unknown

And so the Egyptian government today has designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization officially. It is an official administrative decision based on article No.86 from the Criminal law about terrorism.

The government says that it took this decision after knowing that the MB stood behind the bombing of Mansoura directorate , the bombing which Ansar Beit Al Maqids claimed responsibility today !!! There has been no official direct connection proven so far between the MB and the Sinai based Salafist Jihadist to convict the MB for real in front of law.

It is worth to mention also that on the night of the bombing almost all TV shows and figures urged the government to declare the MB as a terrorist organization , in fact on the same time it was claimed that PM declared as a terrorist organization. There was a huge pressure on the government for real to declare the MB as a terrorist organization but I am afraid that the government shot itself in the foot.

Terrorism won’t stop by this decision.

How are they going to apply it with millions of supporters or hundreds of thousands of supporters in Egypt !? There are no real lists for the MB members so yes it will be fun days of arrests for anybody with no rights at all without the permission. Those are arrested can stand military trials. If any officer opens his fire on alleged terrorist , he won’t be punished because he is fighting terrorism.  The law does not stop here it extended to arresting those who promote the organization through writing , oh yes a witch hunt against writers and journalists !!

It will be one hell of challenges for human rights activists who are currently under fire from both sides.

Of course tonight Ahram stopped the printing of Freedom and Justice Newspaper daily officially. There is noting about the Freedom and Justice Party by the way. I do not know what its status would be.

Now there is one interesting fact here is that this is an administrative decision issued by the Prime minister which can be appealed and overturned by the administrative court. Knowing this from legal experts and lawyers , I can see that this decision can not be used as a card by the regime in the negotiations with the Muslim Brotherhood to lower their demands. After that MB won’t negotiate on reinstating Morsi but rather to remove its name from the terrorist organizations list.

This decision is actually another life kiss to the Muslim Brotherhood just like the Rabaa Massacre. The MB had one hell of year in the spot light as political power and party operating no more underground made the Brotherhood for the first time since 80 years lose its public support in a way like no other.

Now the MB is back to its comfort zone , the underground zone where it remained most of its existence , where it flourished and spread.

Both the deep state and Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt need each other for survival. The deep state needs the Muslim Brotherhood as the scary bogyman and the MB as I hunted above needs such regime to live and survive as a victim as usual.

By the way the rapid rise and fall of MB in two years is scary as well that déjà vu and replay of our history , it is more scarier if I am say because if we are today  reliving

The fools are now repeating automatically online and offline that Nasser’s policies were successful and managed to end the Muslim Brotherhood but Sadat revived it back .. etc.

Well those fools do not know that the thought of the MB abroad in Egypt spread more than Nasser’s Pan Arab Nationalism and what resulted it from Siyad Qutb’s thought and books now changed the world in the past 30 years for real unfortunately in bad ways. Those fools of course are the same people who see El Sisi as the reincarnation of Nasser.

The policies of Nasser , the security oppressive policies did not stop any MB though from flourishing in fact I would dare and raise the bars those radical oppressive policies gave a golden opportunity to the radical oppressive thoughts of Siyad Qutb specifically to spread.

I am afraid we have tried the security solution alone in the past and it did not work not to mention that the mentality of those are currently in control of this country is the same like in the past , in fact they are faithful students so I do not expect any success. We are repeating the same mistake.

The terrorism won’t be stop , in fact I am afraid it may increase especially that the MB youth now think that the days of Sayid Qutb was right and democracy is wrong .. etc. The thing is we did not try all the ways to choose that bloody way.

Anyhow what is scary also is the amount of the public mobilization led by the media in Egypt against all the Muslim Brotherhood members and supporters. Yesterday the TV guests and columnists in Egypt were speaking about death squads to kill the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters.

Today the TV hosts were cheering for how the angry mob in Mansoura went madly destroying shops , companies , clinics , pharmacies and even houses allegedly owned by Muslim Brotherhood members. Online campaigns spread by the Pro-Military supporters to report any Muslim Brotherhood member or supporter to the authorities !! In Mansoura they hanged a banner calling the MB as Egypt’s Jews !! Of course it is anti-Semitic rhetoric but what I see in front of me a scary fascism.

Needless to say it is getting dangerously out of hand and one day people will regret what will happen thousands blaming others unfortunately and not blaming themselves.

In the end of the day I remember what a wise man had told me yesterday when I asked him about the current situation in Egypt that the revolutionaries are stuck between the old regime and the MB , the biggest two powers in Egypt whose fight weakens the revolutionaries. It is true especially that both powers that are actually anti-revolutionary.

By the way now sports journalists from the Mubarak era are urging the government to enlist the ULTRAS groups as terrorist groups.

#AblaFahita ; The dangerous Puppet Spy !!

Posted on 07:42 by Unknown
The level of Public Nationalism Paranoia in Egypt has reached to a scary level especially now it is being adopted by the mainstream media. Now our media is repeating claims that U.S President Barack Obama is a member of the mighty international Muslim Brotherhood organization and that the international MB is actually running the world. “But failed to sustain a rule in Egypt more one year amazingly !!”
Of course this paranoia is rooted online in social media in the Anti-25 January revolution Facebook pages that adopt the conspiracy theory forever , you know the revolution was a cosmic conspiracy and we had a great life during Mubarak rule and so on.
So now after the fifth column lists craze , we got the latest Mossad and CIA spy in Egypt : Abla Fahita , the famous YouTube Puppet.
It started with the Pro-Mubarak Anti-Freemason/Anti-Revolution/Anti-MB/Anti-Sisi Conspiracy theorist and financial analyst Sameh Abu Arayes who analyzes and predicts disasters and terrorist attacks according to the TV ads.
He is the father of the infamous Closed Conspiracy theory Facebook Page Subliminal Message. Now Abu Arayes saw the Dolce Ice Cream ad starting Abla Fahita and her daughter Caroline and predicted that the sinister puppets were speaking about terrorist attacks because Abla Fahita was speaking on how the new Dolce Ice Cream tasted like bomb !!
Here is the funny ad which is the best in the campaign if you ask my opinion.
Doleca New Bomba Ice-Cream starring Abla Fahita
Next Day an attack took place in Sinai and you know Abu Arayes went on fire since then , the puppets are agents !!
Now you got this enlightened report in an Egyptian news website called  Misr 30 June wondering if the puppet was actually a member of the Mossad or the CIA sent with encrypted messages to the Israeli intelligence in the Egyptian society in order to create chaos. The site is using the comic tweets of Abla Fahita as an evidence on its ambiguity !!
Now the Abla Fahita official Facebook began to receive FB Messages warning its admin of the end !!

“Abla Fahita , you and CarCora {Nickname of her daughter Caroline} are going to attend soon the farewell. Be ready with your red dress !!”
Now Speaking seriously it has become a usual scene to see guests on TV channels that used to chant about the great revolution speaking about it as a conspiracy to bring down Egyptian police and army where the MB killed the protesters in January 2011.
I take this seriously because this is how you forge history , a history that you and I have lived. I take this seriously because it is extremely dangerous and honestly I fear one day a revolutionary activist could be assassinated by some angry citizen who believes that this activist were a spy !!
Terrorism does not only happen because you got religious fanatics but it can happen because of you got radical nationalists as well ignorant zealots.

Regarding the WP's interview with #Egypt intelligence Chief

Posted on 12:22 by Unknown
Washington Post made another scoop today , it published an interview with Egypt’s current  intelligence chief major General Farid El Tohamy.
It is the first interview for the head of Egypt’s General intelligence after being appointed in that position in July 2013 in the media whether foreign or local one.
Of course our Egyptian media is focusing that Tohamy said it clearly : We still have got the best relations with CIA more than any other foreign intelligence agency.
Our currently spy chief was interviewed by David Ignatius , the famous American national security and novelist who once interviewed Hassan Nasrallah. It is a rare thing. I do not think that we had an intelligence chief in office interviewed by foreign reporters like before.
It is the worth to mention that Washington Post was the first to interview General Abdel Fatah El Sisi before any local media in August 2013.
The timing of that unexpected interview is interesting as it comes right after the New York Times’ report and profile about El Tohamy.
Some may think  PR campaign in Washington began its work by clearing the image of the spy chief after being attacked in NY Times especially that all the  Pro-Mubarak figures and supporters on the social media believe now that this interview set the record straight after NY Times piece and WP beat the NY Times.
Of course some of them are even claiming on their Facebook Pages that the Egyptian intelligence were  the one that exposed the NSA scandal and that’s why NY Times is attacking El Tohamy !! Unfortunately they have not heard about Edward Snowdon or even read the interview carefully !!
Ignatius did not ignore the NY Times’ profile and linked it in his interview.
To be honest I do not think that the interview glorifies El Tohamy because its focus was mainly on the American-Egyptian intelligence relations and the man’s answer was clear that despite our recent rocky relation with the Obama administration , our intelligence agency’s relations with the CIA are still the strongest.
This interview is actually interesting that it comes in the same time official Cairo is preparing to welcome warmly the Russian defense minister with talk of big deals of arms and guns paid by our brothers in the Gulf.
By the way I still remember very well the reports published in Sawt Al Oma weekly newspaper in 2011 accusing El Tohamy of corruption.I wonder what its revolutionary editor in chief Abdel Halim Qandil thinks about El Tohamy now. Already Qandil is accusing Morsi’s spy chief Raafat Shehata of corruption in his newspaper’s issue this week.
Now speaking about the Spy chiefs , I can ignore all the rumors and talk in Cairo nowadays that former Spy Chief Mourad Mowafi got some presidential ambitions just like Sami Anan !!

#Morsi_Trial : Another trial for another president

Posted on 13:51 by Unknown

I read this tweet today “Egyptians used to call the trial of Mubarak as the trial of the century , what will they call the trial of Morsi tomorrow !?”

Yes once again in less than four years Egypt an Egyptian president stands a trial. The first is Mubarak and the second is Morsi. Mohamed Morsi will stand a trial along other 14 defendants from his aides , Muslim brotherhood officials and Islamist figures. Some of them are runaways thus they will stand a trial in absentia.

Morsi and other defendants are standing a trial for the incitement to kill the protesters in the Presidential Palace clashes last 5 December 2012. I can not forget that day or the what led to it and what happened afterwards.

The trial supposedly will start at 9 AM . Unfortunately we will not see this trial live as the judge ordered that there would be no cameras or mobile phones in the court room. Nevertheless some sources said that the trial would be recorded by the Egyptian TV and then it would be aired after being edited !! Oh yes edited !! The reason given in the press that Morsi may reveal state’s secrets on air !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its location was changed at the last moment from Tora to Egypt’s favorite place to HAVE TRIALS  : The Police academy in New Cairo. Needless to say the Appeal court announced too late after the announcement of ministry of interior that they will block traffic in Tora and Maadi corniche.

Helwan university also announced that it would suspend study in its faculties in campus on Monday. Several schools specifically the private and international schools will suspend study for fear of the Muslim brotherhood protests.

The Muslim brotherhood announced on its official website that there would be protests in solidarity with Morsi against his trial. It is expected as it was announced before.

Let’s be frank no one has started the polarization in Egypt that has reached to its climax now except the Muslim brotherhood and Mohamed Morsi with his ill fated bloody Constitutional declaration.

Morsi is not Salvador Allende nor Nelson Mandela as he is being described by his supporters now , he and his brotherhood did horrifying mistakes thinking that Egypt was another syndicate they won its elections.

A Wedding and 4 Funerals : #AlWarraq tragedy

Posted on 02:49 by Unknown
Blood on the Church's floor
Last night a wedding in a Church in the popular area of Al Warraq , Imbaba turned in to 4 funerals. Egyptians were attacked while attending a wedding ceremony at a Church in Al Warraq , Imbaba after two assailants opened their fire on the people standing outside the church late Sunday. The two assailants were on a motorcycle and fled away after opening their fire.

A Wedding that turned in to 4 funerals including the funerals of 8 years old and 12 years old girls carrying flowers , a wedding that turned in to 4 funerals including the funeral of the groom's mother.

As it is a church in a popular area , the Virgin Church in Al Warraq is not secured and according to its bishop it has not been secured since the ousting of Morsi or after the attacks against the churches following 3 July.

Moments after the attack all the fingers were pointing to the Muslim brotherhood and co. as the attackers , they are the primary suspects that have been convicted by the crime that we have not known yet for real who did it or why.

Inside the Church from short time ago
All what we know that the Muslim brotherhood and their pro- radical Islamist allies radical rhetoric against the Christians and the Church played terrible and major role in the continuous attack against Churches. That rhetoric they refuse to give up , those actions they refuse to stop make them the primary suspect in highly polarized society.

The human rights activists are blaming the ministry of interior for its failure to protect the Christians , I can not blame them to be honest because since July 3 , 2013 and the government , the army and police have been warned over and over by human rights organizations that Christians would pay the price and were paying the price.

On the other hand since the attack all the Pro-military supporters as well the Pro-Mubarak supporters have gone in to a crusade against PM Beblawy demanding him to resign from his position along all his ministers. Ironically everybody knows that Beblawy is not real responsible for security in Egypt and that it is beyond his power. Security in Egypt is officially the responsibility of two men  : Abdel Fatah El Sisi and Mohamed Ibrahim. Be brave and speak about the responsibility of the ministry above the accountability responsible for the security of civilians aka the ministry of interior.

Anyhow unfortunately this is the first attack of its kind and sadly it will not be the last "despite I am praying that it would be" as long as there is no justice , no state of the law , no respect of human rights for all Egyptians regardless of their religion or color or race or class.

The 4 funerals will be held after two hours.
The second photo is by photographer Alaa El Kamhawy.
Update : Below after the break a small photo gallery for the sad day in Al Warraq.

#Oct6 Anniversary : Live Blogging

Posted on 02:51 by Unknown
Today thousands are expected to head to the street starting this afternoon in more of a confrontation mood than celebratory mood. Thousands of Muslim brotherhood supporters are vowing not to return today to their homes except when electoral legitimacy is restored and Morsi is back as a president while on the other hand thousands of army supporters are vowing not to let the Muslim brotherhood supporters spoil the 40th anniversary of 6 October war in the streets too especially in Tahrir square.
Here is  the live blog.

Let the War Games start : Video wars

Posted on 14:30 by Unknown
Yesterday MB’s RSSD News Network began to post some series of videos online claiming that those clips are a scandal to General Abdel Fatah El Sisi and the army. The first video clip in the series was a very interesting. Its title was :  “El Sisi : The military spokesperson is an important attraction factor for ladies” !! Oh yes
Adel Fatah El Sisi speaking about media and army.
RSSD claimed that that video was leaked secretly from a secret meeting exposing the coup. According to what the officers and generals wore winter military uniforms.
Now in that clip we find an officer called Col. Omar “He became famous in social networks” asking General Abdel Fatah El Sisi what he would do then when the media crossed the red lines the army enjoyed for past 50 years. Col. Omar adds that there are TV channels speaking about the army , their owners should be intimidated or encouraged to cooperate with the army and not to cross those holy red lines when speaking about the army. He also asked about the Egyptian armed forces spokesperson Col. Ahmed Mohamed Ali.
The General answered some how wisely if I may say. He said that the revolution dismantled the state and was reassembling it which is true. He also said that they were trying to outreach to the media in different ways and that in the future the red lines may change especially now the army can be questioned in the parliament unlike the past.
El Sisi’s answer when it comes to parliament shows why the army is really concerned by the parliament and accountability. That answer also shows that at least as a commander who comes from an intelligence background El Sisi knows very very well that something has changed.
As a society that loves trivia all people focused on El Sisi and what he said about Col. Ahmed Mohamed Ali “Omar , Ahmed has an attraction factor for the ladies !!”
I do not know about you but his answer was actually insulting to be both Egyptian women “who are
Col. Ali
fascinated by how handsome the colonel is as if they are so shallow” and insulting to Ahmed Ali himself as an army officer working in a first degree masculine institution. I believe it is even bad for him as it came form his commander in this way !! I do not deny that he got groupies online ,still it is insulting to judge a man based on his looks online and how to use the looks in the army to gain support !!
By the way in another world I think this video is a gold mine for Bassem Youssef !! Seriously speaking “ Omar who wants to intimidate the media and Col. Ahmed is very attractive to the ladies” !! Needless to say I am dreaming as Youssef dares not really to cross the red line.
Of course Al Jazeera Musbhar Misr could not miss the opportunity and is airing the clip with photos of Col. Ahmed Ali with ladies aka his groupies from Ramdan Iftar and Sohoor parties held by private TV channels day and night. “Really silly photos”
Back to the media’s point; in real world the army does not need to lure the TV channels and media tycoons to its side because in the end they are  the old Mubarak regime faces and tycoons. For God sake the military now controls the media whether directly or indirectly.
Other than that “Omar he is attractive” , the video does not incriminate El Sisi that much especially he knew that the world was changing. If the video was incriminating anyone it would be colonel Omar , the perfect example of a military man with an old mindset who refuses accountability and believes in freaking red lines. Needless to say the victim of the clip is Ahmed Ali considering all the jokes and comics about him now online.

After that clip had been released on Wednesday’s night , I had several  unanswered questions.
Why the focus on Col. Ahmed Ali !? Earlier this week RSSD claimed that he was dismissed from his position and on the same day this claim was denied. Who really did leak this video and why now ?? It was from Winter 2013 during Morsi’s rule ? Why would RSSD publish this video now jeopardizing the life of its founder and manager Samahy Mostafa who is currently detained as a MB member ??
The question of who leaked the video was answered somehow by the current administration of RSSD that claimed that officers inside in the Morale department “responsible for PR and media in army” leaked the video. The RSSD administrator added that there would be more videos in the way and they were true. Today they posted two other videos.
The first video is about economy where El Sisi was answering some question of an officer in 2 minutes.
El Sisi speaks about economy
We do not know what the question was but from the answer we can guess that El Sisi aka Nasser 2013 is not a socialist but rather a hardcore capitalist. He believes that to build an economy people should pay for the services they get for instance and I will quote him.
If I were the ruler of Egypt , I would make the speaker in the mobile phone pays and the listener pays as well. My son people are all putting the mobile phone handsets on their ears everywhere including polls queues.
The video clips are edited so you can not have a full judgment for what the man said. He also added a remark that would please the public “The army should be the first in paying the services it gets.
I guess the officer asked him about the services they got in the army from mobile phones and the financial facilities.
By the way the true capitalists in Egypt , real capitalists I know from businessmen do not like how the army get involved in economy and so on. It is not a secret that the clash between Gamal Mubarak’s businessmen lobby and the army over the land and projects in Egypt.
Also it is worth to mention that the Muslim brotherhood was supporting capitalism and neoliberalism too during Morsi’s rule !!
Then RSSD released another leak and again it is short and edited to the level we do not know in what context the general was speaking about. The clip was only 0:38 seconds !!
El Sisi ; The police officer and the protesters
Now I had to repeat what he said to understand his answer to officer Ahmed whom I speculate that he was asking about officers and protests. I believe what he said that after what happened “the revolution” the officer will not shoot you and hit you in the eye and that why he will not stand a trial , of course I could be wrong. I just do not get what he said precisely.
RSSD then claimed that it would post more clips in the upcoming hours.
Anyhow it turned out that this secret meeting was not secret after all , it was a meeting with the Chemical warfare officers last December 2012 “During Morsi’s rule”. The meeting was recorded by the Morale department in the army. It is unclear how it was leaked.
Now the MB supporters and members promote those clips as evidence on how El Sisi is bad. The revolutionaries got concerns about the army and media as well the economy , they are also angry for that stupid insult to Egyptian women.
The Pro-military supporters now are repeating the same words when they are confronted with such videos : So what , there is nothing wrong in the video as El Sisi appears to be a wise man and the Muslim brotherhood are actually promoting the guy accidentally. Well those people do not give damn honestly to the status of media in Egypt or how much the parliament is independent from the army in order to do its supervisory role as it should or the economy or anything.
Some people believe that the army and Abdel Fatah El Sisi are actually behind those leaks using RSSD’s stupidity to promote for the general as a president.
Colonel Ahmed Ali’s groupies online say that Colonel Omar is jealous from Ali !!

I do not know why I have the feeling that there is something wrong in mount Olympus for real.I just do not know and I doubt that real human beings understand what is really happening.

Regarding the NYTimes Map Dividing 5 Arab countries in to 14

Posted on 03:10 by Unknown
NY Times published a op-ed about how 5 countries in the Arab world can be divided in to 14 countries by Robin Wright. The graphic representation of the op-ed as a map became a viral in the Arab social media especially in Egypt.
It spread like fire as if that map was a reality , not the visualization of some analyst’s views that may happen and may not. It spread like a fire as if that that was going to happen for real. As Big Pharaoh said on twitter this map in the New York Times would fuel debate and conspiracy theories in the region especially in Egypt for the upcoming 825 years.
This is not the first map of its kind where American Middle East analyst says something similar, if you remember some American Magazine published another similar map during the invasion of Iraq about possible divisions and unlike Wright’s map Egypt was among those unlucky countries that were going to spilt.
I know that what I am going to say now won’t appeal to many people now as fascism is the fashion nowadays along with waiting for the strong just dictator Messiah to bring order and stability to the country that suffers from foreign plots from here and there. We will not have those maps and those predictions if there are true democracy and equality that does not differentiate between any citizen in those countries.
All those countries mentioned in that map scaring the people in their dream do not and did not enjoy freedom or democracy or justice except may be for short times from long time ago.
“The Divide conquer” policy will not vanish by dictatorships in fact it becomes a true reality through dictatorships that spread hate and fear as well racism through religious nationalism , ideological nationalism and ethnic nationalism.
This map can turn in to a reality if the people in the Arab world do not wake up and admit that they got huge problems when it comes to religious sect and ethnic minorities. Of course I do know how many alarms the Arab world has to hear to wake up since the first spilt of Yemen and the first civil war in Lebanon in 1950s !!
Interestingly at least for me that Sudan is being neglected from Wright’s map when actually both Darfur and Kordofan have their own woes thanks to El Bashir regime considering the fact that like South Sudan they were independent from Khartoum and had their own rulers.
The Pro-Military supporters think that Egypt was saved from that theoretical map and won't be divided thanks to the 30 June and the army , well I have to say that it is more complicated than that.

When it comes to Egypt , unlike other countries in the region including those mentioned in the map I would like to hint out that for 3000 years our borders have not changed and we do not have this extreme mix of ethnic and religious minorities like in Syria or in Iraq “for example Shiite and Kurds” or  violent tribal nature thanks to Qaddafi in Libya as He used to favor tribes over others” or in Yemen where the South feels that is being discriminated by the North.
Still I can not ignore that we will be always live in fear as usual if we do not face our problems as we should. We should stop hiding our problems and claim that Egypt does not suffer from sectarian or ethnic problems that truly threat our national security and our future as a nation.
We got a Nubian problem that can be solved so easily if the Egyptian Nubians restore their land and compensated equally and fairly as well treated like other Egyptians.
We got a problem in Sinai that can be solved so easily if you start to develop this desert and change its demographics in the the right way at the same time , treat its locals the Bedouins as true Egyptian citizens not third class citizens you disrespect coz you know they are untrusted Bedouins !!
We got a Hala’ib triangle problem that we think we are going to hide by banning all the maps showing it as disputed region in Egypt when the whole world shows it as a disputed region. Hell we do not even try to improve the horrible conditions there to make those people really feel that they are Egyptians.
Of course I do not need to speak about the Christians and how they suffer in Egypt and before anyone tells me that this is over and it was the Islamists problem , I hate to tell you that it is beyond the Islamists.
We should not rely on the intelligence and military intelligence when it comes to deal with the religious and ethnic minorities files. As a society we have even bigger and more important role. We should stop those stupid useless reconciliation media stunts.

With my all due respect not 100 revolutions or military intervention can save a nation from doom if its people do not recognize their problems and try to solve them for once and for all in the correct way.
Again “Divide conquer” does not happen in a healthy society but rather weak society and God knows how many weak societies we have from the ocean to the gulf.

#9/11 : What We Fail To learn as usual from history

Posted on 12:02 by Unknown

Today is the anniversary of the 9/11 attack that changed the World upside down. Of course I can not get over this anniversary when we are having the infamous “War against in terrorism” in Egypt. Unfortunately we refuse to learn from other people’s experiences nor to learn from history .. even our own history.

These points below I believe we should know in Egypt especially now , they are lessons learned in a hard way from 9/11 and what followed it.

  • Force will not beat terrorism and the evidence is in front of us , almost after 12 years of the 9/11 attacks and before it the World Trade center attack , the terrorists are not defeated !! In fact why we take an example from the U.S when we have our own experience with the bitter terrorism in the 1990s which I still remember very well. Using force and police state techniques did not stop radical thinking and terrorists.
  • Terrorism based on ideology can not be defeated only by force but I will dare to say that you need counter ideologies more than force to fight the radicalism in ideologies that lead to terrorism.
  • Fighting terrorism for real should start by admitting the root problems causing it from social, economic , cultural and above all political problems and try to solve it in order to prevent any radicalism in the future.
  • Discrimination against others will not stop terrorism , in fact it may breed a new class of radicals who may resort to terrorism to make that society that rejected them suffer.
  • History proved that “War of terrorism” was used by the Bush administration for certain political, economic and military gains that used fighting terrorism for a cover and the Iraq invasion is a good example.
  • Shutting down media and forcing journalists to shut up in these times of so-called War of terrorism mean that there is something wrong and you do not want the public to know it.
  • Do turn monster while fighting monsters. There are human rights according to religion and laws that should not be broken under any circumstances.
  • McCarthyism always fails in the end

BY the way this year marks the 40th anniversary of Chile’s infamous coup supported by the CIA. I look to what happened in Chile and I know that there are many lessons should be learnt :

  • The West has no problem with military tyrannies as long they serve their political and economic interests.
  • Justice will prevail in the end in a way or another.
  • Killing and torturing thousands can not be justified under any circumstances.

I am creating fighting terrible fall flu so I am not in mood for long posts to explain each point.

In the end I will quote what Ben Franklin once said :

Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Bomb explodes in #Cairo , back to the old 1990s day

Posted on 03:43 by Unknown
An explosion has rocked Nasr City district earlier today. It turned out according to eye witnesses that it was an explosion at the minister of interior's house targetting his convey. The minister survived the attack that rocked the area but 8 people including a child were injured according to ambulance authorities. Some sources say that 5 officers were injured in the blast.
A photo for the explosion earlier from twitter

A photo from the site by Ahmed Soliman
A photo from Ahmed Soliman
Up till now the reason of the blast is unconfirmed as the Nile TV said that a bomb was thrown from a building while the convey was passing by and eye witnesses are speaking about explosive devices in a car.

A Photo from Mohamed El Kholy

From two days ago the minister of interior Ahmed Ibrahim said on TV that he knew that he was targetted by the terrorists. It is worth to mention that the minister of interior was facing growing criticism because of Abu Zabal prison incident that killed 38 detainees last month as well his past record as a minister of interior in Morsi's administration.
Anyhow I think that this explosion will end any reconciliation attempts between the regime and the Muslim brotherhood.
Also it will make the regime extend the emergency status for another month. We should forget tourism too.
We are back to the ugly 1990s with its terrible terrorism and terrible human rights abuses.
Here is a photo gallery for the area following the attack.

Free Stork Now !! It is not a #Spy duck !!

Posted on 10:17 by Unknown
Of course this news made headlines around the globe  yesterday : Egyptian authorities in Qena governorate arrest a duck with a spying device !!
Updated : The stork is going to be released tomorrow and it will return back to its home in Hungary.
Well it turns out that it is not a duck but rather a stork and it is not a spying device but rather a satellite tracking device. The poor stork is still in the custody of Egyptian authorities.
The sad , beautiful and detained stork
That bird , that stork got a profile online by the way and here is its track as well.
The Nature Conservation Egypt issued an important statement  about that spy stork in Arabic and English. Please spread it.

Post by Nature Conservation Egypt (NCE).

I am afraid ignorance made us the joke of the word as usual and as expected. Unfortunately, the ministry of education as the ministries of agriculture and environmental affairs in Egypt have not explained to the people what the annual bird migration is or how Egypt is a hot zone for birds’ migration or even how researchers and universities from around the globe put tracking devices on the birds to follow them.

#August30 : Another Friday of protests and anticipation

Posted on 02:58 by Unknown
After the Friday prayers today the Muslim brotherhood and its Islamist allies are organizing mass protests all over the country.
Today yet again people believe that today we will know that the Muslim brotherhood has still got power in the streets or not and thus their political power.  The protests are big indication indeed but I believe it is an indication for their organizing power of demonstrations only but when it comes to politics , God only knows what is happening in the backstage.
You must know many people are worried from today. The media is adopting scenarios that the Muslim brotherhood supporters are going to burn police stations allegedly like what happened on 28 January 2011 !! “Oh yes rewriting a history we all lived and the world witnessed is going on so fast in Egypt and people buy it”
The security forces from army and police warned the people from going to the streets today. The army warned the people from any stranger in their roof urging them to close their roofs.
Currently the streets are deserted. All people are staying at home while there are army and police are spread in major spots in Cairo and Giza. Of course Tahrir square is off the limit , locked down by army troops.
Amazingly over 2000 MB members have been arrested in the past few weeks. Many of them are the cadres in the governorates responsible for organizing demos and rallies. Anyhow here is another live coverage for the protests.

My two Cents on The Military intervention in #Syria and Its impact on #Egypt

Posted on 23:37 by Unknown
So it seems that there will be a foreign military intervention in Syria so soon , may be with in days or even days.
I believe that a direct foreign military intervention in Syria is the last thing Egypt really needs now. Oh yes the direct foreign military intervention in Syria will make the public demand a military rule willingly to protect Egypt from the foreign conspiracy going after the strong Arab armies in the region. “Yes there is a deliberate misleading info in the media that the Syrian Arab army is extremely strong army and that it is the second strongest Arab army in the region after Egypt”
Thanks to the Egyptian media people began to support Al Assad and his regime as well his army against the Islamists above them the Muslim brotherhood and Al Qaeda. There is a deliberate misinformation when it comes to what is said and how it is said about Syria in the Egyptian mainstream media.
The Nasserites already support El Assad despite their idol Nasser used to curse his father and Baathist altogether. Of course these are the Neo-Nasserites.
The Egyptian people believe that Egypt will be the next after Syria and Iraq. Simply Now Egypt has got the true remaining army in the Arab world thus it will be the target after Syria and Iraq. General El Sisi seems to be the upcoming president of Egypt  with no competition what so ever now as a military man can protect the country in that critical time in the eyes of many Egyptians especially with the fiascoes of the first elected civilian president aka Morsi.
With the rising nationalism in Egypt and how the majority of people believe conspiracy theories now just like their belief in God , I fear that the military intervention will make them believe that the whole world especially the West is truly plotting against Egypt
The latest conspiracy theory supported by the state “through its official newspaper Al Ahram” now is how the West or the US was planning to divide Egypt starting with the independence of Upper Egypt through the Muslim brotherhood. The military action and what will follow in Syria will support this theory.
Anyhow what alarms me not only the rise of Nationalism/military rule in Egypt but the fact that Egypt is facing a challenge in Sinai called Jihadists and we may find ourselves in front of another wave of Jihadists who fought in Syria and want to return back will find no welcome from the regime or the public.
Informed sources once told that the army had to move against Morsi and Muslim brotherhood when he stood in June 2013 and declared that Jihad was OK in Syria. It was and is still a national security nightmare for Egypt because Jihadists are more radical and dangerous than the Muslim brotherhood.
This scenario of course depends mainly on the possibility that the military intervention succeeds in bringing not only Al Assad’s regime down but also the Jihadists. "So far all sources speak about short strikes to cripple Al Assad only"
It will be like Afghanistan déjà vu once again. It will be like living a mix of the 1960s and 1990s at the same time !!
As I said above those Jihadists will not be received as heroes from the public or the army and now the Islamists or Jihadists can not stomach the army after happened in June 30th thus I fear the army will not face Jihadists only in Sinai but rather will face them from the West , from Libya. It is worth to mention that mainly Jihadists that fought in Libya went to Syria to fight there including Al Qaeda militants.
Anyhow I wonder many times why God made Egypt in the middle of the Middle East. It is as if fate and all forces of nature are just against having a true democratic transition in Egypt like any other country. Internal factors are not only against having a true democratic transition but also external factors.
I am sorry if I am seemed to be selfish and speaking about my country now.
