It was a fact that Constitution 2012 edition was enforcing the engagement of Religion in the state.Another fact the Muslim Brotherhood and their allies from Islamists including Nour party then used religion to promote for that constitution just
Myth says that 30 June uprising/revolution/wave/protests was/were against the Muslim Brotherhood and against the use of religion in politics and here I say it is a myth because I see the current ruling regime and its supporters shamelessly use religion in promoting for the Constitution 2013 edition.
Just yesterday Sheikh Ali Goma’a , our former Mufti said that those who would go to vote in the constitution referendum were supported by God !! He also added that we should all mobilize and say yes in order to astonish the world !!

He also added that the Constitution 2013 edition was against corruption and was against atheism !!!!!!! Yes against atheism so believers who want to fight that wave of atheism should vote for the constitution !!
Tell me what is the difference between Ali Goma’a and all the other MB sheikhs that said similar stuff about Constitution 2012 edition and the Constitution 1971 edition amendments referendum !? Of course this is not the first time Goma’a mix religion with politics , he has not stopped since July 26.
Even Nour Party is repeating the same old ads it used in 2012 claiming that Constitution 2013 in order to keep the Islamic identity and reference of the State. Its founder and famous Salafist preacher Yasser El Borhamy says that Constitution 2013 edition is better than Constitution 2012 edition !! 
Anyhow I hate to break the news to all of you , nobody for real knows what God thinks of this constitution or whether the Almighty is standing with this group or that group. Do not use the Lord in your useless endless disgusting earthly power fights.
And I remember Sheikh Emad Effet May Allah bless his soul and wonder why we are stuck in this world with sheikhs like El Borhmay , Goma’a and of course the MB’s religious band of Sheikhs !! The Lord only knows !! 
We hoped that after June 30 that mix of religion with politics to be stopped but we were naive as it seems.

#EgyConstitution :The draft is not Final yet

Today we found the Egyptian Constitution committee’s official twitter account announcing that the new draft Constitution 2013 is available online. People began to gear up to read and inspect that draft Constitution but then came Mohamed Salmawy , the official spokesperson of the committee to tell us that the draft

It is true , it is not the final draft because they are still last minute talks with everybody to ensure that the majority of certain groups like the Salafists and Workers are going to say Yes. There are still major fights about certain articles other than the military trials and the army articles in general.

Yes the Salafists as well Al Azhar are now fighting with all their powers over the so-called Islamic identity articles and it is not about the infamous 219 but about the fact that they do not want the word “Civilian” in the article related to the identity of the Egyptian state.Oh yes Al Azhar also refuses the word “Civilian” , the open-minded moderate Al Azhar that fought the Muslim Brotherhood also refuses the civility of the State !!

I do not know what the problem of the sheikh is with the civility of the State. “Civilian” is not secular for God’s Sake , Civilian opposes military as far as I know !!

Anyhow this is just the tip of ice berg , you got the other Sharia related articles.

Despite the Salafists as Al Nour Party approved the Military trials in the 2012 Constitution , they declared their refusal to the military trials for civilians now in 2013. I believed that they are playing some sort of game with the military in return to keep the religious related articles as they are.

Al Nour party can mobilize its supporters against this constitution if it does not get it wants.

Now moving to the Workers and farmers’ share in the parliament. As you may know that since the 1960s and the Workers and farmers got 50% of the seats in the parliament according to the Constitution. Now it is removed from the draft Constitution.It is one of the best things ever to be honest because actually all those years the ruling party used this article to control the parliament. 

The workers and farmers unions “Mostly from the Mubarak era” are against this and are vowing to vote against the constitution if it is issued without it.

Moving to the Governance System , last rumor we hear today was that the members of the Constitution committee want to have the presidential elections before the parliamentary elections in Egypt. Also we got the president vs. parliament powers article.

First They Came For The … "Updated"

Do you remember when I told you that there were not so good news on Thursday other than the bomb targeting the minister of interior and the arrest of Sinai journalist Ahmed Abu Daraa ??
Well the other bad news is the arrest of leading Revolutionary Socialists member and labour rights lawyer Haitham Mohamadein on Thursday afternoon in Suez. According to tweep Gharib , he was forced to leave the bus he was taking at a police checkpoint because he is a bearded man at first.

After inspection , he was detained because they found with him so-called political pamphlets aka “The Socialist” Newspaper !! It is worth to mention that according to law , lawyers can not be inspected except by a permission from the prosecution.
Mohamadein was in Suez in order to solve some labor problem in some steel factory. Later the lawyers and activists in Suez said that Mohamadein was being accused of belonging to a secret organization aka the Revolutionary Socialists.
Today Haitham Mohameden was interrogated by a district attorney in Suez who revealed to Mohamadein and his  lawyers that the socialist lawyer was being interrogated by a state security court !!!!!! Yes it seems that Mohamadein is facing a state security trial !!
Lawyer Ramy Ghanem was tweeting from there.
Here are the accusations Mohamadein are facing :

• Founding and managing the secret organization of the Revolutionary socialists which incites to empower a particular social class over the whole of society and subvert the social systems of the states. “Its headquarter is well known in Giza and its members are also well known. ”
• Having pamphlets that incite violence. “Their statements and their newspapers.”
• Attempting to overthrow the government through terrorist acts committed through Revolutionary socialists.
• Attempting to occupy governmental institutions.
• Attempting to destroy the state’s properties in order to harm the national security.

Yup we are in 2013 and this is what political activists and labor activists are accused of after June 30 Revolution to end political dictatorship. By the way Mohamadein , a hardcore socialist who was against the Muslim brotherhood was asked if he were a Muslim brotherhood member. 
Updated : Haitham Mohamadein is released on bail , the charges have not been dropped though. 
Yes the Pro-Military Facebook pages and twitter accounts are claiming that the Revolutionary socialists are just another secret branch of the Muslim brotherhood !!!
You must know that there are educated people who believe this crap.
You also must know that the Revolutionary socialists used to collect Tamaroud petitions for God sake. 
Yesterday Army officers on twitter claimed that he had a fight with an army officer for refusing to let the army checkpoint to inspect his car and insulted him !! FYI Haitham Mohamadein is extremely polite person and does not get in to fights in general.
Ironically the tale of the twitter Army officers contradicts with the facts I mentioned above and enforced by the official legal reports in the police station not to mention Haitham Mohamadein does not own a car in the first place.
Anyhow some people online are buying the army officers’ tale including friends because activists are bad and Haitham is from the useless revolutionary socialists as they say. Yes some people got a huge problem with the revolutionary socialists.
Some people want Haitham and other revolutionary socialists to be sent to jail because  they do not like them and because they are socialists.
Unlike those people from twitter activists , Haitham is from the real activists that truly work on the ground with the true Egyptian working class from farmers and workers regardless of their ideologies and regardless of what you think about him. 
Some believe that Haitham Mohamadein was being targeted after appearing Al Jazeera Mubshar Misr earlier Thursday in a recorded video where he criticized General Abdel Fatah and described him as the leader of the counter of revolution.
Of course some also believe that Mohamadein should be sent right away to jail for this and for defending the detainees who were arrested following Rabaa sit in dispersal.
Today the revolutionary socialists and other activists as well protesters had a small protest at the Supreme court in Cairo and they had to move it to the small staircase of journalists syndication after they were attacked by honorable citizens who called them traitors !!
Yes political activists and protesters in Egypt are back to the staircase of journalists syndicate after rocking Tahrir square.
By the way yesterday the security forces arrested a man that makes Yellow T-Shirts with Rabaa’s logo and today the security forces announced that they arrested a dozen MB members and confiscated a laptop. They found anti-El Sisi songs on that laptop.
Today also I found that the prosecutor general has ordered the state security prosecution to investigate a bunch of public and political figures “mostly from the Pro 25 January revolution icons and activists like Wael Ghonim, Amr Hamzawy , Nawara Negm , Wael Abbas, Ahmed Maher , Wael Nawara and Ghada Shabander ” for US direct funding based on deliberate mistranslated Wikileaks cables.
The original Wikileaks cables speak about tea parties and talks between the embassy officials with those figures but Egyptian News websites are speaking about direct funding !!
Ironically the Tamaroud Nasserite boys told the German minister of foreign affairs that they did what Germany should had done from stopping the Nazism , well I am afraid they do not realize that we are on the verge of having another Nazism. “Of course they do not mind as long as Nasser is back in a new reincarnation. Damn Nasser did not allow political or expression’s freedom except cheap nationalism and presidential cult to flourish that led to a defeat in 1967. This is what the Nasserites actually want.”

The 50 members Committee : Who is Who

I am getting tired from these Who is Who posts I am doing over and over nowadays !! Here is the list and Who is Who of the 50 members committee that is assigned by the presidency to revise the amendments of constitution 2012.
The constitution amendments were presented to the presidency last week by the 10 members committee made of Constitutional law experts. The 50 members committee should represent the society through a specific quota announced last month by the presidency.

Here is the list of names:

1. Kamal El Helbawy as a representative of Islamist current :The former leading member of the Muslim brotherhood is in the committee and this has to say something especially with what I hear from unconfirmed news from the backstage. El Helbawy who was one of the top figures of MB abroad and was from those responsible from spreading the teachings of the brotherhood internationally. He lived in London for decades.He resigned from the MB when the brotherhood announced that it would have a presidential candidate in 2012. It is worth to mention that his wife is still a member in the Sisterhood branch of the MB.
2. Bassam El Zarqa as a representative of Islamist current: The co-founder of Al Nour Party , El Zarqa was a member in the Constituent assembly of 2012.He was also an advisor to Morsi during this presidency. Bassam El Zarqa is the only representative of the Salafists in the committee, and this is making the Salafists extremely angry. The Salafists are here to defend the articles they planned proudly in constitution 2012.
3. Amr Moussa as a public figure : Amr Moussa is not only a public figure but he is the former leader of Conference party that is expected a role in the future. He is a member of the NSF. He was chosen as a member in the Constituent assembly in 2012 but later he left it.
4. Diaa Rashwan as a representative of journalists :  The current head of journalists syndicate and head of Ahram Center for Strategic studies. The Upper Egyptian researcher in Islamist groups affairs got Nationalist Nasserite Leftist tendencies. He is also close to the army , at least this is what was shown in the past three years. He was an advocate of marshal laws during SCAF time. Rashwan and journalists syndicate are angry that the 10 members committee ignored their suggestions in the Constitutional amendments.
5. Sameh Ashour as a representative of lawyers : The head of lawyers syndicate and the leader of Nasserite party. Well Ashour is not your typical revolutionary Nasserite as on January 27,2011 that ousting Mubarak was completely wrong. He is a member of the NSF by the way.
6. Major General Mohamed Maged El Din as a representative of armed forces : The current head of military prosecution. I think the army avoid sending Major General Mamdouh Shahin. It does not make difference in my view because in the end Maged El Din or Shahin will represent what the army wants in the constitution and from what I know from the amendments the army related articles are not touched.
7. Mahmoud Badr as a representative of Tamaroud movement : The well known co-founder of Tamaroud movement is a Nasserite.
8. Mohamed Abdel Aziz as a representative of Tamaroud Movement : Another well known co-founder of Tamaroud movement is a Nasserite and a member of the popular Current.
9. Ahmed Eid as a representative of The 30 June Front Youth Coalition : Another youth activist who is originally a member in the Constitution Party
10. Amr Salah as a representative of the 30 June Front Youth : A revolutionary youth activist who is also a member in the Constitution party.
11. Police General Ali Mohamed Abdel-Moula as a representative of ministry of interior.
12. Mervat El-Talawy as a National council for women representative : The former minister and ambassador is well known to everybody. By the way she was among the co-founders of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party.  I do not know if she is still a member or not.
13. Mohamed Salmawy as a representative of writers in Egypt : The famous writer is the head of Egypt’s Union writers. He is also a member in the Free Egyptians Party. Despite he believes in liberal economy , I heard he got nationalist Nasserite tendencies.
14. Khaled Youssef as a representative of artists in Egypt : The leftist Nasserite director and film writer is a member of the Egyptian Popular Current.
15. Sayed Hegab as The high council of culture representative : The famous leftist/Nationalist Poet once compared El Sissy to Nasser. Amazingly in 2011 he described January 25 revolution as bigger than Nasser.He is a member of popular current.
16. Mohamed Alba as a representative of artists in Egypt : The leftist artist is well known for his views against the military trials and SCAF.
17. Mona El Zulfakr as a representative of human rights activists : The current member of the human rights council. Mrs. Zulfakr is a board member of several corporations, in fact she is the CEO of EFG-Hermes. The famous cooperate lawyer is not the typical human rights advocate of the revolution to be honest , she is not Mona Seif or Huba Morafey but she played an important role when it came to family and women’s laws before the revolution of 25 January.
18. El Sayid El Badawy as a representative of liberals : The leader of Al Wafd Party represents liberals in Egypt in a big joke !! Everybody knows that El Badawy is more of a shadow party leader now who supports whoever rules !! The owner of a huge pharmaceutical company and Al Hayat TV network once said on TV that his party is not liberal. He is a member of the NSF.
19. Mohamed Aboul Ghar as a representative of liberals : Dr. Aboul Ghar was one of the founders of the National association of change before the revolution. He is the leader of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party which is more of social democrat than typical liberals. He is from the co-founder of the 9 March movement for Universities indenpendence.
20. Dr.Adel Galil Mostafa as a public figure : The University professor and political activist is a member in the National association of Change. He is also a co-founder of the 9 March movement for Universities indenpendence.
21. Gaber Nassar as a public figure : The professor of Constitutional law and former vice dean of law school in Cairo university was elected as the head of Cairo university.
22. Dr. Hoda El Sada as a public figure : Despite her name is not known publicly but Dr. Hoda El Sada is well known Egyptian and Arab feminist academic. I am amazed that I have not read about her before.
23. Azza Al Ashamawy as a representative of the National council for Motherhood and Children : Dr. Azza is the head of the counter human trafficking unit in the council.
24. Hussein Abdel Razek as a representative of leftists : Hussein Abdel Razek is the leader of Tagammou party. I am surprised for choosing him as representative for leftists now in Egypt when there are more active Leftist parties in Egypt like Socialist Popular Coalition Party. Just like Al Wafd Party , El Tagammou Party was a shadow opposition cartoonish party during Mubarak’s era especially in the last decade.
25. Mohamed Sami as a representative of Nationalists : As if there is no representation of nationalists and Nasserites so we have got the leader of Karma Party as a member in the committee !! Karma Party “which is founded by Hamdeen Sabbahi” is a member of the NSF.
26. Haggag Oddoul as a representative of Nubians : Haggag Oddoul , the famous Nubian writer and novelist is considered from the important advocates of Nubian lost rights in Egypt. Oddoul was among the names nominated by the Nubians themselves.I believe it is a good choice. He is a leftist. 
27. Mosad Abu Fagr as a representative of Sinai : The outspoken Sinai activist , blogger and writer is well known Leftist yet he is a founding member of Constitution Party in Sinai last time I checked. Au Fagr used to be critic to the military state in the past, I do no know about now. Nevertheless I can not get over his conspiracy theories about the United States and Palestinians.
28. Dr. Mohamed Ghonim as a public figure : Another respectful figure , Ghonim was among the founders of the National association of change that stood against Mubarak.He got some socialist tendencies. He is currently a member in the Popular Current
29. Dr.Magdy Yaccoub as a public figure : Sir Magdy Yaccoub , the true humble Egyptian surgeon icon. He is a very respectable and modest man.
30. Sheikh Shawky Allam as a representative of Al Azhar.
31. Sheikh Abdullah Mabrouk Al Naggar as representative of Al Azhar.
32. Sheikh Mohamed Abdel Salam as a representative of Al Azhar.
33. Bishop Paula as a representative of Coptic Church : Many Christian activists as well Christians rejected his nomination. I need a separate post to explain it.
34. Bishop Antonius Aziz Mina as a representative of Catholic Church.
35. Dr. Safwat El Baiady as a representative of Evangelical Church.
36. Hossam El-Massah  as a representative of the special needs people in Egypt.
37. Ahmed Mohamadan as a representative of the Supreme Council for Universities.
38. Talaat Abdel-Kawy as a representative of the NGOs in Egypt.
39. Mostafa Badran as a representative of students in Egypt : Badran won the elections of Egypt’s students unions after a very tough competition against the Muslim brotherhood. As far as I know he is politically independent.
40. Ahmed El-Wakil as chambers of commerce representative.
41. Elhamy El-Zaiat as a chamber of tourism representative.
42. Mamdouh Hamda as a representatives of cooperatives.
43. Mohamed Abdel Kader as a representative of farmers.
44. Ahmed Khairy as a representatives of farmers.
45. Gebali El-Maraghi as a representative of labor : Gebali El Maraghi’s name as a Pro-Muarak labor unionist was mentioned in the battle of the camel case.
46. Khairy Abdel Dayam as a representative of doctors : The head of doctors’ syndicate is not a Muslim brotherhood but he was backed by the brotherhood as far as I know.
47. Saad El Din El Halali as a public figure : The Islamist scholar is known for his unorthodox controversial views. Choosing him made many conservatives angry.
48. Dr. Amr El Shobaky as a public figure :The former MP and political sciences analyst and professor was a member of the Constituent assembly in 2012. He was accused of supporting the Muslim brotherhood then. Well now I think he is no longer supporting them.
49. Abla Mohie El-Din as an industrial chambers representative : The Benha university professor works as an advisor in the ministry of industry and commerce.
50. Osama Al Shawky as a representative for engineers.

In quick look , we got some how a domination for the Nasserites and Leftists and boy who can imagine that !! Of course there is huge overlapping between them because you can find Nasserite Leftist at the time “I know some socialists will be offended but it is true !!”. On the other hand you find you will find a Nasserite who rejects Leftism economy or Leftist who rejects military state. It is just crazy !!

Quick numbers :

• We got 5 women.
• We got 4 Christians.
• We got 1 Conference Party members.
• We got 3 Constitution party members. 
• We got  5 Popular current members
• We got at least 16 NSF members
• We got at least 1 Egyptian Social Democratic Party member
• We got 1 Salafist/ Al Nour party.
• We got 2 Political Islamists
• We got 5 Islamists in general “Including Al Azhar , El Helbawy and Basse Al Zaraqa”
• We got 4 members at least who were members in the previous constituent assembly.

Despite some say that the women should have got a bigger quota , I believe it is not by number as much as the end product itself. Hoda Sada seems to be an excellent choice along with Azza Al Ashamawy.
There is a huge change and we have got a Sinai representative and Nubia representative but no West desert tribes representative as ethnic groups. Also it may be silly but I do not understand why we do not have a single representative for Muslim Shiites when we have representatives for the main three Churches in Egypt. Of course there is not single representative for the Egyptian Jews !! I know it is cheesy but hell I had enough of speaking about the new era of liberalism in Egypt after the departure of Muslim brotherhood.
Good luck for those guys , hopefully they will learn from the previous constituent assembly’s mistakes. Personally I believe this will not be the end.

The #Friday After the arrests in #Egypt

Tomorrow Friday Islamist National coalition to support legitimacy or rather the Muslim brotherhood is organizing mass protests and rallies all over Egypt hoping that these protests will break the curfew and end it.

It is worth to mention that Egyptians respect the orders and do not break the curfews now unlike January and February 2011.

The coalition called the Friday of Martyrs.

There will be 28 rallies alone in Giza and Cairo besides the governorates.

I am somehow surprised that the Muslim brotherhood and the Islamists are organizing these rallies when there is a massive crackdown following the first and middle leaders of the brotherhood not only in Cairo but other governorates. The campaign also included those members responsible for mobilization and  protests.

We will be in front of a huge change tomorrow as the members are no longer waiting for the directives of their leaders according to the hierarchy of the brotherhood. The leaders are in detention now. Of course things now can go beyond the leaders who care less for the blood of the members. Now there is blood and blood always changes matters.

The MB members insist that they will stick to peacefulness but not most of them considering the anger of the young members especially from the Ultra-Qutbists who reject the idea of democracy altogether.We know our security forces too .. very well.

AFP journalist Haitham El Tabei was told by a Muslim brotherhood member that he did not receive new any new directives this week.

There is a strong rumor circulating online that the MB protesters may try to take over Tahrir square. “As rumor says Al Jazeera will transfer on air from there”

By the way not only the Muslim brotherhood supporters and their allies are going to protest alone tomorrow.

There are revolutionary youth who are going to protest against the release of Mubarak decided to protest at the Supreme court , downtown Cairo. Yesterday April 6 Youth Movement “Ahmed Maher’s movement” announced that they were going to protest at Supreme court but today things changed. 

The event was cancelled today as the movement that has been constantly accused of being a subsidiary of Muslim brotherhood wanted to distance itself from the brotherhood. Officially the movement does not want its protest to be used by the brotherhood.

From what I see online despite the April 6 youth movement’s decision to cancel the protest , it seems that there will be revolutionary youth who are going to protest either ways. They are accusing April 6 Youth of being coward and so on. Revolutionary Socialists announced that they will go on with the protest regardless of the attacks against them.

You must know there are some revolutionary youth who are extremely angry , really angry and they want to express it. They are fed up with everybody and Mubarak’s release was like the last straw. The revolutionary youth do not want Muslim brotherhood or military and I am afraid with all political powers and parties in Egypt ignoring them , they will find no other way except returning to the streets.

Returning to the streets now is a suicide when the public is not interested in anything except unfortunately in the so-called war on terrorism. It is like a deadlock.

Let’s pray that no one gets killed tomorrow.

Reviving #Nasser in #Egypt

This photo was spreading in Egyptian social media network as well the Egyptian news websites.

Allegedly this boy saluting late President Nasser was general Abdel Fatah El Sissi. There is no confirmation whether this boy was El Sissi or not but it is spreading like fire.

At Nasser tomb where Nasserites along Nasser family went to celebrate the 23 July anniversary a big banner with the photos of both Nasser and El Sissi was hanged. In Tahrir square you can see the posters of Nasser and El Sissi together are sold.

In a very emotional op-ed by Ibrahim Eissa in Tahrir newspaper called “El Sissi Egypt” last week , the TV host and editor in chief compared to the minister of defense has done on 3th July and how he resisted the alleged American pressures to keep Morsi as a president to what Nasser did in 1956 from nationalizing the Suez Canal.

Today is the 61st anniversary of the 23 July movement in Egypt , the original coup that is considered a revolution and actually caused a social economic as well political revolution in Egypt and Arab world. I can not get over on how the Egyptian mainstream media is trying to make from Abdel Fatah El Sissi a new Nasser figure whether intentionally or unintentionally.

 It is not a big secret that there is rise of Nasserite and Nationalism in Egypt nowadays. It started with the infamous words of ousted President Mohamed Morsi “What you know about the sixties” in Tahrir square from more than a year ago referring to Nasser and what he did against the Muslim brotherhood. Of course later he quoted Nasser in a positive way especially in his African tours and celebrations like Labor Day.

As the MB and Morsi started to commit political sins and mistakes , the people began to revive Nasser’s legacy from MB’s hate and despise. Generations that knew nothing about Nasser except that he was the president that brought down monarchy and nationalized the Suez canal  kept sharing clips from Nasser’s famous speech in 1960s about MB.

The misogynist chant against the MB in the protests “If Nasser were alive , he would make you wear veil and bracelets” was a common chant in the anti-MB protests through the past year. Of course all this is nothing compared to what is taking place on ground. The famous Tamaroud movement’s  co-founders are members are members of the Popular Current movement led by Nasserite Hamdeen Sabbahi.

Tamaroud young founders already were blessed and met with none other than Nasser’s close media aide Mohamed Hassanein Heikal even twice in a week. Heikal also met by the way Abdel Fatah El Sissi and revealed alleged latest exclusive events from the backstage on CBC TV channel . The MB members already claiming that this were a Nasserite coup backed by the States and Israel thanks to Heikal !!

Of course the only thing many Egyptians have revived from the Nasser legacy is the hate of the Muslim brotherhood and that famous leader was right in oppressing the MB. “He did not oppress the MB alone and actually the police state of Nasser was one of his worst sins that no one can deny or beautify that b all measures at all” 

Amazingly nobody is paying attention to Nasser’s legacy from economic policies on the other hand and I do not have any doubt that after couple of months the Nasserites will lose their popularity because people will remember that they do not want Nasser’s socialism and big slogans in the end of the day.

The Upper Class and Upper Middle Class that are currently calling El Sisi as the new Nasser and cheering for him will not tolerate to accept Nasser's social and economic policies once again in Egypt. Of course there are generations who ignore the fact that  Nasser’s popularity in Egypt among popular classes was not because he sent the MB to jail only but because the economic and social policies that he adopted in Egypt mainly. 

Besides this I do not think that those racists who are attacking Syrians and Palestinians day and night cheering for El Sisi will tolerate or accept or even understand the Pan Arabism or Pan Africanism nationalism adopted by Nasser. There is ugly increase in Egyptian Nationalism that says Egypt above the world and above all , Arabs and Africans are nothing.. bla bla bla

Every figure is the child of his own time and his own society. Abdel El Fatah El Sisi can not be Gamal Abdel Nasser and Gamal Abdel Nasser can not be El Sissi because simply despite the uniform and their position from the Muslim brotherhood, each of them is the child of his time , his own circumstances that is completely different than the other. The Egyptian society in 2013 is different than the Egyptian society in 1952.

Nobody can ignore or deny the huge popularity El Sisi now in the streets. This is why I do not think that he needs the media to make out of him a new Nasser.

By the way this popularity now can be bless and curse at the same time because people’s hopes are up in the sky.

The new Crisis Cabinet of #Egypt

First of all Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei has sworn in from couple of days ago as the vice president of Egypt for foreign affairs. Yes here is the the video below.

I believe that is a huge responsibility on ElBaradei. He will face a lot of challenges. Already the world looks to Egypt and feels sad for the coup that took place against the elected president. ElBaradei’s name and credibility abroad should send the message that this is not a coup.There is no doubt that the democratic progress in this country is the true indicator whether it is a coup or not.
Some people began to believe that the invincible Egyptian deep state is trying to burn ElBaradei and other reformists in the same way like the Muslim brotherhood. “Of course with the MB it was an easy mission”
Personally I wish Dr. ElBaradei all the luck and success for real because I believe he could be from the people who can break the cycle I spoke about it before.
Now we began to see the final formation of the “crisis” cabinet. Oh yes this is its name now “Crisis” cabinet and God knows it does not face a single crisis but a series of crises.
The cabinet is headed by the liberal economist and co-founder of Egyptian Social Democratic Party PM Hazem El Beblawi. Here are the names and short bios of the 33 ministers. “There problems regarding ministry of justice and ministry of transportation”

1. Ziad Bahaa El Din as deputy PM and minister of International Cooperation: A co-founder of the Egyptian Social democratic party. An economist and lawyer. Very respectable man according to those who know him. “Yup it turned out that I got relatives and friends who know him personally”
2. Nabil Ismail Fahmy as minister of foreign affairs : The former Egypt ambassador to Washington and founding dean of the school of public affairs in the AUC. He is the son of late minister of foreign affairs Ismail Fahmy. He is a member in the constitution party headed by ElBaradei.It is worth to mention that Dr. ElBaradei was Ismail Fahmy’s aide and resigned with him in the mid 1970s. Now to the son I think he was chosen to amend the relations with D.C.
3. Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour as minister of industry : The leading member of Al Wafd Party is returning back to cabinet as a minister of industry. The 1945 born former minister of tourism descends from a famous political Coptic Christian family. Abdel Nour is a businessman and he is the founder of the famous Vitrac for Jams company.
4. Ahmed Galal as minister of finance : The World bank veteran and economist is chosen from this position after several names. He has been the managing director of the Economic Research Forum (ERF), a research institution covering the Middle East, since 2007. Galal worked in the bank for nearly 18 years in different positions : As industrial economist for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa,  as economic advisor at the private sector development department, and finally as adviser on the Middle East and North Africa from 2006 to 2007
5. Doria Sharf El Din as minister of information : The political sciences graduate is a famous critic , writer and TV host. Her TV show “Cinema Club” on Ch.1 of the Egyptian National TV continued for decades till it was stopped suddenly in 2009. She headed the arts censorship for some time. She is considered the first woman to hold this position. The revolutionaries in Maspero aka National TV do not welcome her as they accuse her of being a member in the NDP policies committee. Again we got a promise from the Presidency that the ministry of information will be cancelled and Sharf El Din would be her last minister.
6. Kamal Abu Eita as minister of manpower : The 1953 born labor activist and icon has at last become the minister of manpower. According to some this is a victory for real for the 25 January revolution. Leftist Nasserite Abu Eita Abu is known for leading the formation of the first independent trade union, the Real Estate Tax Authority Independent General Union, in 2009 after leading the Tax Authority employees’ national strike in 2007. A former MP in the 2012 parliament , Abu Eita a member of the Nasserite El Karma Party ran on the Freedom and Justice Party’s electoral list.  Amazingly Egypt Labor Union is protesting against Abu Eita.
7. Hossam Eissa as minister of higher education : The co-founding member of the Constitution Party is a professor of the Constitutional law. He is also appointed as a deputy PM.
8. Mohamed Amin Mahdy as minister of transitional justice and national reconciliation: The 1936 born minister of the newly founded ministry used to head the State council and the administrative court. Despite his impressive Wikipedia page and his history , the Judges Club does not approve his nomination to become the minister of Justice.Thus a new ministry came to life.  I do not know why El Zend does not like him . Anyhow Mahdy’s father was a member in the Old Wafd member. He was a member our legal team in Taba dispute as well  and a former judge in the International tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Judge Mahdy was also a member in the first fact finding committee of 25 January revolution.
9. Ahmed Emam as minister of electricity : In one of the mysteries of the universe the minister of electricity in the last Hisham Qandil’s cabinet continues in his position despite the frequent blackout !!  
10. Ibrahim Mahlab as minister of housing : The former CEO of Arab contractors. He was a member in the NDP and its police committee. He also was appointed as a MP in the Shura council during the days of Mubarak. After serving as the CEO of Arab Contractors “appointed by Ibrahim Soliman” , he resigned in 2012.
11. Ahmed El Borai as minister of social solidarity : The co-founder and leading member of Constitution Party. Dr. ElBorai served as minister of manpower during the first Essam Sharaf’s cabinet.
12. Hisham Zazou as minister of tourism : The 1954 born minister used to be the minister of tourism in Hisham Kandil cabinet.
13. Adel Labib as minister of local development : The 1945 born was the former governor of Al Behaira and Alexandria as well Qena during the time of Mubarak. The former police general became the governor of Qena once again in August 2011 after the protests of the locals demanding him by name and rejecting the Christian governor appointed there. On the other hand Alexandrians do not welcome his appointments.
14. Maha Rabat as minister of health : All what we know about Dr. Maha is that she is the head of the public health department in the faculty of medicine , Cairo university. She was nominated by the National Council of Woman. Some activists including Mamdouh Hamza accuse her of working in privatizing public hospitals with the help of the U.S. Aid program during the Mubarak era. Trivial info : She graduated from the faculty of medicine in 1982.
15. Laila Iskander as minister of environment : Laila Iskander is renowned figure as social entrepreneur working in environmental development. I think it is one of the best choices n the cabinet.
16. Ramzy George as minister of scientific research : Nothing much about except that he was graduated from the faculty of agriculture , Cairo university in 1963.
17. Atef Helmy as minister of telecommunications : The former general manager of Oracle Egypt continued in his position as minister of telecommunication. Helmy was graduated from the military technical colleague in 1973 and took a diploma in computer science in 1979. He served in the army from 1973 to 1983 then he left it to work in the civilian telecommunications field and multinational companies till he joined Oracle Egypt in 1996. His CV is quite impressive for real.
18. Mohamed Ibrahim as minister of Antiquities : He used to serve as the minister of antiquities in Hisham Qandil’s cabinet. Archeologists in Egypt are extremely furious to find him again as minister. The archeologists are angry and are going to have a sit in against him tomorrow.
19. Khaled Abdel Aziz as minister of youth : The member of Egypt Party was a former minister of youth before during Essam Sharaf Cabinet. I do no know what the need for this position is except it is something from the 1960s legacy. Egypt Party is founded by famous preacher Amr Khaled by the way. Khaled Talmiah , the member of popular current and famous activist recommended him to PM Beblawi.
20. Tarek Abu Ziad as minister of Sports : The famous and popular ex-footballer born in 1962. Abu Ziad was the minister of this unneeded ministry during Essam Sharaf’s cabinet. He is a member of Al Wafd Party and ran for parliament in 2010 and lost for the NDP.
21. Mahmoud Abou El Nasr as minister of education : The current faculty member of Cairo University’s mechanical engineering department was heading the mechanical education in the ministry of education.
22. Sherif Ismail as minister of petroleum : He was the Chairman of Ganoub El-Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE) 
23. Abdel Aziz Fadel as minister of civil aviation : The former Air forces engineer joined Egypt Air in 2003.In 2004 he became the Vice President for Egypt Air.
24. Mohamed Abdel Motaleb as minister of  irrigation and water sources : Mohamed Abdel Motaleb was the chairman of the National Water Resource center since 2012. According to his profile at the National Water Research Center website Professor Abdel Motaleb has over 25 years of experience in the field of water resources management. The current minister of irrigation and water sources holds a Ph.D. from Colorado State University and is a member in the world water Council.
25. Osama Saleh as minister of investment : The 1960 born was a minister of investment in the first Hisham Qandil’s cabinet. Before that he was the chairman of chairman of Egypt's General Authority for Free Zones and Investment (GAFI). The graduate of the faculty of commerce ,Cairo University was appointed by former PM Nazif in 2009 as chairman of GAFI.
26. Ashraf Al Arabi as minister of planning : Al Arabi was also a minister in the first Hisham Qandil’s cabinet in August 2012. El-Arabi received his PhD in the subject from Kansas State University in the United States. From 2006 until the end of 2011 he headed the technical advisory office of the former planning minister, Fayza Abul-Naga.
27. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa as minister of religious affairs : The Sheikh works in the office of the grand Emam of Al Azhar as far as I have read.
28. Mohamed Saber Arab as minister of Culture.
29. Mohamed Abu Shady as minister of supply : A former police general.
30. Ayman Abu Hadid as minister of Agriculture : The former head of the Agriculture researches center was a minister of agriculture in the first Essam Sharaf cabinet after the revolution.

Minister of Defense Abdel Fatah El Sisi will continue in his position of course besides the minister of interior Ahmed Ibrahim and minister of military production Reda Hafiz. Man every time I remember how the MB members bragged on how those both men are Closet Islamists in the past !! El Sisi will also become the first deputy.
There are 3 women in this cabinet : Doria Sharaf El Din , Laila Iskander and Maha Rabat
There are also there are three Christians : Ramzy George , Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour and Laila Iskander. We got two Wafd party members , two Constitution Party members , two Egyptian Social Democractic party members , One member from Egypt party and one member from El Karma Party.
There are 3 ministers from police : Supply, Local development and interior
I know someone is missing, tomorrow I will check them again
One of the most important demands Egyptians had been begging the Muslim brotherhood for a new cabinet. That demand if it were fulfilled in time , would have changed a lot.

And We Have Got a PM At Last !!

At last we have a PM in Egypt. Interim Adli Mansour  appointed Liberal prominent economist Hazem Al Beblawi after hard labor to get an interim prime minister.
Already I wonder why Al Nour Party reject Mohamed ElBaradei and Ziad Bahaa El Din as prime ministers Egyptian Social Democratic Party. The Salafists were requesting a non partisan figure. I do not understand the Shift in their opinion.

and accepted Dr. El Beblawi. He is liberal last time checked and like Bahaa El Din he is co-founder of the Egyptian social Democratic Party.
A quick look to the bio of the 1936 born liberal economist will make you wonder why Egypt did not hire him earlier as PM. Well from what the former minister in Essam Sharaf’s cabinet after 25 January revolution refused all the offers from Mubarak and his regime. It is worth to mention that the Freedom and Justice Party website is using an op-ed for him where he said that he would vote for Gamal Mubarak to prove that he is bad. Ironically and sadly enough no one bothered to read his 2010 Op-ed where he actually slammed Gamal Mubarak reaching to the conclusion that he would not vote for him.
Of course it is worth to mention that the MB leading figures including the former president himself had similar quotes praising Mubarak, his son and the NDP icons in the media.
Appointing El Beblawi was not the only thing Adly Mansour did today, aside from meetings with revolutionary youth political figures to discuss the Constitutional declaration , he appointed Mohamed ElBaradei his vice President for foreign affairs and democratic transition.
Mahmoud Badr of Tamaroud revealed that El Bob does not want to be a PM and preferred an economist to be the PM of Egypt now where as he would responsible for the political transition file.
Anyhow there is a new saga facing El Beblawi or rather Mansour to form a technocrat cabinet in Egypt.Mansour already got more powers than El Beblawi according to the new Constitutional declaration.
That Constitutional declaration has been rejected by several political groups like the NSF and Tamaroud. Supposedly it will be amended this week. We will see.
Now trivia time
The majority of Egyptians on Facebook got nothing to speak about except the old age of our new PM. There are jokes that the first thing Dr. El Beblawi will do in the cabinet is to revise the 1936 treat and that former PM Ganzoury considers him a reckless young. Another joke that is taking the social media by storm “The youth of 1919 revolution have got their chance in rule”
On the other hand some Egyptians , few began to discuss the man’s economic polices and thoughts. The Leftists consider him a neoliberal who will not have the social justice goal of the revolution in front of his eyes. Well I am afraid he has to put it in front of his eyes because if no social justice polices are adopted sooner we will have hunger revolution.

#ElBaradei to be A PM of #Egypt {Updated : Not Yet a PM}

And Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei has been appointed as the next Prime minister of Egypt.
I believe that he was appointed in order to prove to the world that this is not a coup against democracy. Already knowing ElBaradei and how he thinks I know that he will not accept this position except taking all the powers he wants.

And Al Nour Party spoiled the Party.Yes Now Egyptian interim presidency says now that ElBaradei has not been officially as PM !! Well it turned out that Al Nour party is rejecting ElBaradei and is even threatening to withdraw from the political scene in Egypt !!! They believe that ElBaradei does not want Islamic Sharia and supports the Secular state !!
Amazingly in this difficult of Egypt we need someone like ElBaradei who supports dialogue and inclusion.
I hate to break the news that Al Nour party has already lost its Islamist base with its support of the army's announcement to oust president Morsi.
Of course this is untrue because all the reporters as well Tamaroud activists have been informed that ElBaradei has been appointed as a PM personally by Presidency this evening !!
Despite all parties and political groups that attended the meeting with interim president welcomed the nomination of ElBaradei in fact I know as a fact Tamaroud and Strong Egypt Party led by Abu Fotouh asked for ElBaradei by name as a PM.
I do not know if I should to say this. But Al Nour Party and Salafist Calling will increase the gap and the polarization in Egypt.
We are waiting for what is going to happen tomorrow.
By the way the two main candidates other than ElBaradei : Farouk El Okda and former PM Kamal El Ganzoury. Yes El Ganzoury who was nominated by Al Nour.

Day One After the #June30 Apocalypse : Back to Old Sleepless Daysin #Egypt 'Updated"

Things are developing so quickly today in Egypt after the huge protests we saw yesterday. First of I will start from yesterday.
Tamaroud campaign’s 30 June Front issued its first statement last night with the title “Revolution’s First Statement” and it announced that Mohamed Morsi is not longer the President of Egypt on behalf the 22 million citizens who signed Tamaroud petitions to withdraw confidence from him.
The statement gives an ultimate to Morsi to leave by 5 PM on 2 July Tuesday otherwise the revolutionary group will call the general assembly of the Egyptian people “This is the exact wording they used” to mobilize at Egypt’s public square and to start a civil disobedience. It also call the army and police to stand by the side of the public and on the other hand to the people to continue their sits in all over the country.
Tamaroud has not represented the petitions so far to the Supreme constitutional court.
The ministry of health of health announced the latest numbers today : The death toll increased to 1 all over the country and 781 injured all over the country. The clashes in Cairo, Assuit, Fayoum , Bani Sawif and Kafr El Sheik.
One was killed in Kafr El Sheikh ,Alexandria , Fayoum and Bani Sawif while 3 were killed in Assuit and 9 in Cairo including 8 at the MB HQ in MoktamHQ.
There are no MB members killed in yesterday events at Mb HQ. The MB HQ was set on fire and stormed by the people. I think I will have another separate post about it.
 There are news that 4 non MB ministers have decided to resign from the cabinet.
Today the Presidency will  hold a press conference at 5 PM and the Muslim brotherhood will hold another Press conference.
Still millions of Egyptians will wait another statement , the statement of the Egyptian armed forces.
In those times , I think the best thing to do is to have a storify story as it will be a very long night.
Tamaroud will also hold another presser tonight.

The Armed forces have issued a statement aired on Egyptian National TV and other channels. The statement was also published on its Facebook page.

The armed forces have issued a statement from short time ago. It is very strong statement and it says one thing  :
The armed forces are giving 48 hours to all political powers to reach for a reconciliation to end the current crisis otherwise it will announce a political roadmap for Egypt 
In other words either we will have an early presidential elections or we will have a very soft military coup on popular demand.
You must know the people in Tahrir square and the Presidential Palace are extremely happy with that announcement. Some political forces , from the civilian forces like Tamaroud are welcoming that statement.
On the other hand the the Islamists specifically from the Muslim brotherhood are extremely worried and some of them of angry as they considered it as a coup.
It is actually a soft coup still no one has made us reach to this soft coup except the Muslim brotherhood

The Egyptian army is not responsible for the Egyptian TV and Cairo international airport. It is also worth to mention that the army has took control of number of governorates HQs in Delta.

Ok the Presidency announced that it has adjourned its presser tomorrow adding that Morsi is discussing with his advisers the latest developments. In other words Morsi and presidency do not know what to say after the army's statement.
Lots of statements have been  issues so far in those hours. Most of the non Islamist Political forces and parties welcome the statement .
The ministry of interior has issued a statement announcing its full support to the armed forces officially in its official Facebook page.

This was not the last most interesting official statement we had because the army did it once again. Armed forces spokesperson issued a statement to clarify the other statement issued earlier and the whole world read it as an annoucnment of coup. 
According to Col. Ahmed Ali´s statement the doctrines of Egyptian army do not include military coup and that the Egyptian army went to the streets in 1977 , 1987 and 2011 and did not lead a coup. The statement insists the armed forces do not want to be involved in politics and wants to reach to a reconciliation.
Now there are celebrations in Egyptian street like the celebrations we had on February 11,2011 !!!! Yes People are flying over the moon with the army's first statement.
Of course the MB does not celebrate it. In fact Mohamed El Beltagy has said in Raba'a Adawaya that it would be over the their dead bodies if army did it.

#June30 : Hours before the Apocalypse

And it is just a matter of few hours and one of the longest days in Egypt in 2013 will start : June 30th. The awaited June 30 mass protests are forcing everybody to hold their breathe especially after yesterday’s unaccepted protests.

Today there are lots of developments like for instance the meeting of Morsi with the minister of defense and the head of intelligence , Obama’s statement about Egypt , Tamarod’s announcement, ElBaradei’s statement and Hamdeen’s statement.

There is nothing about that meeting of Morsi with El Sisi of defense or Shehata of GIS.

US president Obama expressed his concern for what is happening to Egypt. I know my country now is a headache for Washington !! The American president called both the Egyptian regime aka the Muslim brotherhood and the opposition to hold talks instead of clashes and violence today in his press conference in South Africa.

Update : President’s adviser and MB figure Ayman Ali says that Obama is free to say whatever he wants and the Egyptian Presidency is not obliged to listen to what he wants.

The US department of State issued a travel warning for Egypt.I believe it is normal thing especially after the murder of the US citizen Andrew Pochter in Alexandria’s clashes yesterday. The US marines have already been put on alert in  Southern Europe so what happened in Benghazi won’t happen again in Cairo

You must know that there are calls by Ultra Radical Pro-Nationalists/Military/Nasserists for protesters not only to protest but to storm the US embassy. Those calls results of the anti-American sentiments growing among the Non-Islamists because they believe that the Obama administration is biased to the MB. US ambassador Anne Paterson is so much hated and many Egyptians consider her the American version of Lord Cromer.

I believe the MB would love to protesters storm the US embassy this happen so their political opponents as well the Egyptian army lose all the cards with Washington.

The office of assistant to President of Egypt on foreign relations aka Essam El Haddad , the president’s aide for foreign relations issued a statement for foreign media.The statement is not good in these times. Praising the Raba’a Al Aadawaya protests and attacking the opposing protests. The opponent protesters will not come near Raba’a by the way.

Dr. ElBaradei has called the Egyptian people to join the protests of 30 June protests. He also called President Morsi to hold early presidential elections in order to continue on the democratic path.

Hamdeen Sabbahi is saying that the June30 protests are a continuation to the 25 January revolution calling the people to stick to peacefulness and condemning the violence and the attack on members and properties of various political groups including the Muslim brotherhood. Sabbahi is speaking in a huge confidence that victory will be the ally of those against the MB.

Today Tamarod announced that it managed to collect 22 million signatures to withdraw the confidence from President Mohamed Morsi through the Supreme constitutional court. There is a debate about how correct or valid these numbers are. Already the political group announced that they have excluded the invalid signatures including the duplicates

There is another whole legal debate about whether the court will consider the petitions legal enough. This is something for the first time to happen in the history without legal basis.

“Tamarod” Campaign also called the Egyptians abroad to protest in front of the Egyptian embassies tomorrow worldwide. Already I know that there are Egyptians who will protest in front of the White House tomorrow.

Of course just from minutes ago the Muslim brotherhood has declared the general mobilization among its members. The last time the MB announced this mobilization , we had the massacre of presidential palace of December 5 where Egyptian civilians tortured and killed other Egyptian civilians.

The main gathering of the MB youth will be in Raba’a Al Adawaya and other places in Cairo unfortunately the FJP did not reveal on its official page. The Islamist parties alliance led by the Muslim brotherhood also issued a statement tonight.

Updated : Morsi held a meeting with the Islamist parties in Egypt from his allies. He urged them to restrain their members and to the end of that talk.

BY the way Salafist Al Nour Party and Al Watan Party its rival are not going to participate in the rallies or the protests.

On the other “Tamarod” Campaign announced that there will be protests in 26 governorates. It will be huge thing. It could be the biggest since 28 January , in fact it could be bigger than 28 January 2011 in some governorates. There will be 14 marches from all over Cairo heading to the Presidential Palace and 4 marches to Tahrir square.

Socially Egyptians are worried even if they do not show it. It is not a big secret that they are stockpiling food and water. Of course it is matter of days and we are going to have Ramadan so it is like double bill. You must know that not all the people are going to protest but rather are scared.

Some companies and shops are giving their employees vacation tomorrow , some of these companies and shops are actually urging their employees to go and to protest. For instance we got the famous Mohamed El Sagheer’s beauty salon and Design Emporium Egypt.

I do not know what will happen but one thing for sure if violence starts and does not stop then in couple of days we will have a new SCAF. Again we got different factions protesting against Morsi with different agendas and goals as well means to reach for their goals. If we are speaking logically the size of the protests can force the MB to present the concessions they refuse to present n order to save themselves. This is of course logic.

One thing for sure no one on earth or heaven even the Egyptian deep state would have imagine that Morsi’s first anniversary will turn to be like that.

#28June : A rehearsal For #30June

And people went to protest today. Egyptians vs. Egyptians , civilians Vs. Civilians or Non Islamists Vs. Islamists to be accurate.

Hundreds of thousands protests against Muslim brotherhood and Mohamed Morsi in rehearsal today across the country for the big day on the 30th. Also hundreds of thousands were there in Cairo protesting in solidarity with Muslim brotherhood and Mohamed Morsi.

The scene of Islamists was repetitive but the scene of angry citizens including first time protesters and NDPians in the protests along with the revolutionaries was rare.

Of course it was not that peaceful because clashes happened and we got over 500 injured. Ministry of health says that 3 have been killed including a US citizen who was stabbed in Alexandria unfortunately.  The death toll of the Muslim brotherhood is 5 up till now while 2 for the protesters as well 1 US citizen.

Today several MB headquarters and branches have been torched and vandalized by angry protesters in Alexandria and Mansoura.

Now leaks I knew earlier this week that things will be bloody in North Delta and the old NDPian leading figures will make it bloody in all possible ways so the army would intervene. I think I said it before. If you speak about peacefulness than you are either weak coward who lives in lala land or secret MB agent Online.

I do not underestimate the anger of the people nor the fact that everybody is denying that we are fully armed society now.

Tahrir square is full again but …

I can not be so happy that Tahrir square is full now , it has been full before by revolutionaries alone without MB or Mubarak loyalists or military loyalists. I can not be so happy because I see too much hate and anger blinding everybody.

Today I found a tweep comparing the Muslim brotherhood as the Jews in Germany before WWII reaching to the conclusion that a holocaust would be great for the Muslim brotherhood.

I can not be so happy when I see that bearded men are being attacked in the streets and there are threats to butcher the Muslim brotherhood and their families like sheep.

I can not be so happy that Tahrir square is full when I see faces from those who called the martyrs of Tahrir and Mohamed Mahmoud street every possible name and accusing revolution of being a foreign plot bragging on how they are protesting in the square. Yes the square is for everybody but emotionally speaking I remember what everybody said in the past two years , it is curse. For God those people are still attacking the January 25 Revolution calling it a defeat , a setback and a foreign conspiracy.

Politically and realistically speaking I believe that we can not win the battle when we have different goals. This is the dilemma , the revolutionaries want their revolution back on track once again for democracy and freedom while the Mubarak loyalists want the military back and to end democracy.They got higher voice in the media now despite they need the revolutionary cover in front of the world.

Of course if anyone dares to speak about this matter online in Arabic he or she will be accused of being a secret MB cell spreading lies who is trying to split the unity of the great people’s revolution. I have had my share already for being called all sort of insults for saying this.

Anyhow to be realistic you do not need to be an expert to know that sooner or later the army will do something considering how the armed forces troops are deployed throughout the country. Whether it is going to be a full scale coup or soft coup I do not know.

Nevertheless I have to admit that greed and stupidity of the Muslim brotherhood will be studied and that the deep state in Egypt knew how to use that greed in order to return back to the scene just like knowing the weakness points of the 25 January revolutionaries. Unfortunately the revolutionaries and the people do not want to understand or learn from their mistakes like others.
